Seems to really want my son to progress.

I really like how they really jump on a problem whenever my son is having some challenges at school. I just show them the feedback and/or message from his teacher and someone from the staff there contacts the teacher by email as well as call. This is huge. Once the teacher is aware that there are efforts at home to help my son improve, the teacher's attitude seem to change.

This is the second child I've used Mathnasium for. My first son, who was tutored by Mathnasium, has graduated from UMBC now. :-D

Because of COVID and the kids being physically out of school for an entire year, the teachers are really challenged to give each student the right attention they need. Mathnasium is a very good extension from the math classroom. I feel my son is really being taught Math well.

The Mathnasium environment is also good for learning, since my son is away from his friends; other distractions and can be completely focused.

I highly recommend this valuable service.

Mathnasium is one of the best decisions I've made. My son enjoys being there and he has greatly improved with his math. We also see him being more confident in his ability which is an added bonus. I recommend this course to anyone who is struggling to understand math and its concepts. It will definitely help you with knowledge as well as provide the self confident all people need to be successful.

Very professional and very good at what they do. My son was fortunate to attend classes and i saw improvements in his grades and i would recommend mathnesium to all parents.

My kids love it!! They really didn't realize how much they have not been taught in School. They look forward to going each week to be challenged and taught!

The owner is fabulous; you can tell she cares just by how she interacts with the kids and parents.

We moved our 8th grader (R) from another place to the Mathnasium of Gaithersburg.
And wow.. what an incredible difference did it make. R went from being a kid who despised memorizing tables to someone who wants to attend each class and actually enjoys it.
After each class, she talks about how the amazing instructors make her feel connected and explain the concepts in easy to understand terms.
As a result of their exceptional efforts, R feels more confident and motivated to do AP level math.

Being at Mathnasium has been such a wonderful experience for me. The teachers are all so attentive and always help me in every way possible. With their help, I scored 790 in SAT Math. I am now more confident in my abilities to take tests, and I am more prepared for college.

Very knowledgeable staff. I saw great improvements of my son ability to solve problems. I recommend mathnasium for everyone who needs help.

I put my 3rd grader in Mathnasium since I felt he was struggling with getting some concepts and would take ages to get his work done. Combining that with remote learning scenarios, where he lacked teacher oversight, just added to the problem leading to a total lack of confidence. That’s when I approached Ms. Sulekha Gautam at the Gaithersburg Mathnasium. We were offered a prolonged consultation on our first visit with both my kids being assessed on their math skills and given feedbacks on the levels. My son has greatly improved in his approach to math. He still exhibits reluctance, but his confidence is up and we received a letter from his school regarding him qualifying for enrichment in math. Thank you Mathnasium for giving such individualized attention to my son and giving him such confidence in math!

My 4 year old son had showed an interest in math early on and so I enrolled him in Mathnasium- Gaithersburg. He has really been enjoying his math class and I am noticing the difference with his math skills. I hope that this will put him at an advantage when he starts public school. In terms of the staff, everyone is very professional. Sulekha, the owner, is awesome. She provides great communication and is responsive with any questions or concerns. She is also very accommodating if there's a last minute conflict with class. The teachers seem very caring and patient and are always timely with the class. I'm glad I signed up.

Excellent teaching skills!

Our experience with Mathnasium thus far has been wonderful! Our son Zachary is enjoying the learning sessions with his instructor Sam. He is retaining information from the lessons. Sam is very patient. Sam teaches in a way that makes the lessons enjoyable and easy to understand, but if Zachary needs a little extra time with a particular topic, Sam will patiently work with Zachary until he completely understands the topic. Zachary has significantly increased his note taking for Math class this summer. We are looking forward to the upcoming school year.

Great foundation

Mathnasium has been a great addition for my son. After every session, I notice how much more confident my son has become. It is a great feeling when you can see a little boy grow and become more and more confident in himself. I am so proud of him and a great deal of credit goes to the staff of Mathnasium. They have really helped my son become more confident. I know there is still a long way to go, but this is such a positive and great experience. I'm so happy to be a part of his growth..

Our experience has been incredibly positive. Our 10-year-old son has greatly improved math skills and has been doing much better. He was two to three grades behind level, when he took the original placement test. Today, his math skills have significantly improved in over 9 weeks he has been in Mathnasium. The center creates a warm, friendly inviting learning experience for him. The staff is always kind and knowledgeable and has helpful ways to make math understandable. My son enjoys going there and it makes all the difference.

I've been studying at Mathnasium of Gaithersburg for 3 years. They offer the real individualized tutoring. The teachers are great and very helpful. I gain better grades and feel more confident with math. They also have lots of resources and practice assignments to help you understand the topic. I loved every part of my experience.

We feel extremely lucky to have been seeking professional help from the Mathnasium of Gaithersburg for more than a year now! My daughter has not only mastered her Math and got "A" in Math in her 10th grade but has received excellent tutoring services in other subjects as well. The teachers at Mathnasium of Gaithersburg are super nice, help me a lot with school work, make math not so boring anymore. I used to have bad grades in math, but since I came here, my grades are getting better. The teachers spend time explain the concepts to me, and make sure I understand. I appreciate all you and your staff have done for both of my girls during these difficult times. My most reluctant, Brooke, makes comments often as to how she understands concepts taught to her through your program that her teachers either skim over or fail to explain in a way she understands. This makes me so happy for her, especially since the teacher she has been assigned to for the second semester, does not have a great track record of explaining concepts and uses Khan Academy for the majority of his instruction.
