My daughter joined Mathnasium at the end of 5th grade. From her evaluation test results, she was lacking behind in some 5th grade math areas. My daughter was able to catch up before the end of summer. When school starts again, she has already started on some 6th grade math. Today, my daughter can confidently tell me she is more comfortable in her math class and understand her teachers better. There are times she even help her fellow classmates and explain to them how problems are solved.

We switched my daughter to attend Mathnasium after hearing how effective they are from a friend. My daughter is currently in the 5th grade and was struggling with math. Her grades drop drastically from passing in 3rd grade the beyond failing in the 4th grade. It was not just one topic. We saw an improvement right away. Her grades gradually improved from failing to 90s on a few hard tests. She doesn’t always get a score of 90 and up. But they are all way above passing.

In addition, the homework and test prep support is a major deal breaker for our family. Both parents work and finding time to teach math in the evenings are a challenge.
