My daughter HATES math. It’s even very difficult to help her with her homework because she is so resistant. We thought we would give Mathnasium a try. We made an appointment for her to be assed. My daughter had a very wonderful experience with Min giving the assessment, so much, that it’s the reason I’m driving to alameda now, (instead of the Rockridge location that is close to us) she enjoys math a little more now, and I hope it continues. It’s been about a month so far. And So far so good!!

My son didn't want to go to Mathnasium at first but now seems eager to go. He still says he doesn't like math but seems to be enjoying more.

Happy kid, happy parents = win win situation. Right off the bat, my 11 year old looks forward to attending week after week after week. Mathnasium really motivates him to work hard. Not only is he thrilled about solving Math problems, he is also very thankful for those aha! moments and learning different ways to solve problems faster and more accurately. Within the first weeks of Mathnasium, he reports back proudly that he learning different methods of problem solving! Mathnasium gives me the peace of mind with the excellent, friendly staff and the consistent, perpetual learning experience.

Enjoy that we can just drop our child off during operating hours without an appointment or prior notice. It is also great that the staff can teach our youngster the mechanics of mathematics, and provide occasional rewards once she has reached a milestone or mastery check. Our child has also gained more confidence when completing math assignments at school, which is all we can ask for. Thanks for providing such a wonderful facility!

Mathnasium has already been extremely helpful for my daughter and if we didn’t start this summer, she would be going in the school year even more behind.

We have seen a complete 180 in our child’s attitude. She had become fearful of math, and lost all interest. Since going to Mathnasium for only a month, she approaches math with a smile and determination to succeed. I can’t wait to see how the tools she is learning from Mathnasium impact her efforts and results during the school year.

We knew our son was behind, but none of his teachers were able to pinpoint the exact areas he was struggling in. Mathnasium was able to do just that, and design a custom plan to help him catch up. He loves the program, and looks forward to going. He is showing more confidence in math now, and has commented how they teach him in a way that he can understand. I am so glad we signed up.

I think this is a great program that does a great job at recognizing what each individual student needs. The incentive program is a big winner for my child and really helps her stay motivated.

Our daughter has struggled with math for years and finally felt ready to work on it, when we happened to hear about Mathnasium from a friend whose son loved it. She's really enjoyed it so far and is at long last, able to do mental math and has confidence in herself.

Mathnasium is a place where my student is comfortable - staff is friendly and welcoming, there are positive reinforcements to acknowledge achievements. This makes the feel more rewarding for students. Students are assessed and given a plan that focuses on their math needs to grow and feel more confident about math. In addition, there is homework help! Other places do not offer this. So, for us - this has been essential.

My son has been indifferent about Math and considered himself a failure. But after his first week at Mathnasium, he came home feeling inspired. He said I like going there because it's fun and has a good vibe. I appreciate that Mathnasium is addressing the areas that he needs to work on and not trying to push him forward until the foundational skills are mastered first.

The tracking of Nina's progress is most important. I am happy to see the details of her progress report. With many tutors/ tutoring programs, it is difficult for the parent to see progress in terms of the learning plan skills. The assessment is wonderful in that it lists the skill and progress.
