The instructor, Linda W was awesome!
Caitlin is an amazing yoga instructor! Her voice and words of wisdom refill my cup full every class I am so fortunate to be a part of. The Oakland community is lucky to have Caitlin!!!
great staff
Studio is clean. Good instructors. Clean bathrooms and showers. Plenty of lockers. Generally positive energy from staff.
I like the instructors and music (EDM, pop, hip hop). The Yoga sculpt classes are my favorite. I’d love for there to be a Sunday morning Yoga sculpt class
Excellent yoga instructor and spotless changing room.
First time visit… great facility
Very nice studio, love the shower changing area. Great heat in the rooms.
Great class with Mary!
Teachers are very warm and welcoming. They engage in conversation with the students and get to know each student as best as they can. They are very real, authentic and down to earth.
Clean studio and great instructors!
I love the vibe! I love the hot yoga… especially when it’s upstairs and extra toasty! I’m only visiting Walnut Creek and I live in Southern California - but I’ll definitely be back!! Awesome place to practice! 💕
Kaitlyn, Karan, Addrita, Amanda & co are great!
Hard work out. Always makes me challenge myself.
Ease of booking classes. Close proximity to my home. Awesome instructors!

The teachers!
Caitlins class is great!
Staff is welcoming and the class was challenging... in a good way :)
Just right amount of workout and feeling stretched but not too much!
Miles is always a great instructor, very thoughtful with his sequence. It's not overly complicated but just enough variation so that the class doesn't feel stagnant.
Music choices excellent.
Room is always particularly clean before class starts.
Overall, I loved the class. Becky started with recommendations for scaffolding, so people at different levels knew how to modify chaturanga. The rest of the class was well-paced, and though it followed the typical C1 sequence, she still put her own spin on it, which I appreciate. (IMO, the same sequence every time gets stale.) Becky’s energy was welcoming; I felt motivated by her suggestions for setting intentions, and her encouragements throughout class. She also modeled some trickier poses like crow.
A few suggestions to Becky and other C1 instructors: First, give more guidance about using props. I saw some folks struggle with certain poses, and I think props really would have helped them with ease and alignment. Also, I notice no C1 instructors ever ask people about injuries or needs for modification; is there a policy against it? If not, I would love to see C1 instructors start asking this. As someone with an ankle injury who has also practiced for a long time, I know how to modify, but others in C1 may not. Finally, some people bring all of their stuff into class: purse, phone, layers, etc. I wish there were a policy against bringing all your stuff to class, since you have lockers and cubbies; at the very least no phones or large bags in class.
Everything though if I had to choose, I would say the teachers. They’re awesome.
The instructors are terrific! Especially Victor and Lauren.
