My son came to Huntington in the first grade. He’s now finishing 4th. When he started he was barely at a pre k level even though school said he was on target. Huntington helped us get the appropriate diagnosis for my son (he has multiple LDs) and then placed him on the best learning track for him. He now is at grade level with his learning and got 4 As and 2 Bs on his last report card! He wouldn’t have been able to come this far without Huntington!!! We owe them so much and are so happy with his team!

Excellent instruction
At Huntington Learning Center we really appreciate how well defined the learning goals are for the student. There is clear communication about the progress of the student. They work with the parents to understand the child better and that just gives us a comfort feeling knowing that our child will be treated with the care and understanding while also learning and improving their skills

The program was good from a planning perspective with the 40 hours planned. Since the first SAT score was the same as the initial practice test, Wanda from the Dubwoody location worked with us with a few extra hours of tutoring and a practice regimen. The SAT score jumped up a 100 points and will use the remaining hours and practice to give it a third time as the score needs to be in the 1500+ range for the identified target schools. Overall the program is good.

The flexibility in how they help and willingness to work with teachers is great. My child’s grades steadily improved with their help.
Overall, an amazing program that is tailored to the student's individual SAT needs. Some "motivational" approaches, such as listing a student's name and what they are missing on a board in the testing center, can actually add more negative mental stress to a student. Instead of motivating that student, it makes them feel like they are not meeting the standard and failing. This has been our experience.

Working with Ms. Mindy and Ms. Rahmat are pleasant and they respond my request promptly and resolve issues smoothly. Ms. Joanna is such an excellent teacher. Her feedback for writing is very helpful and her review is clear and thorough.
