This is our second time at Mathnasium after doing only a summer program two years ago. My son is an 8th grade, Algebra 1 student, and is able to get reinforcement of concepts he learns in school, but from a different perspective. He is learning that math can be fun (especially when older kids/students are helping to teach him!) and I know it's important to solidify his understanding now, before he begins high school.

Pleasant and well organized

My high school freshman loves his sessions and is re-learning all the material that was hit or miss during school shutdowns. This is the best system I have ever used for him or my older two sons with objective measurements and lots of positive reinforcement!

Tutors seem knowledgeable & my daughter is progressing. I appreciate Amy's updates through progress reports & verbal phone calls.

Addison is excited to come, she often wants to skip other activities to come to mathnasium. You all have a way of making Math fun and not making her feel bad when she does not understand something, it is great to see her so excited about something that she previously did not like to do.

We have love mathnasium so far. The evaluation was thorough and seemed to reach the same conclusions that I had. My daughter loves going. Each instructor has been kind and helpful. We especially love the owners. She is excited to go, they provide some bribing/ rewards which my daughter really responds to. The only reason I did not give a 10 is that we have only been there a month so have not seen many results yet. Also I have noticed that some of the newer/ younger staff often let me daughter "cheat" o rdon't recognize when she is not using strategies but instead counting or using her fingers which is the point to us going. The more experiences staff catch her all the time and make her do it right.

Keeping up with summer math has always been stressful at our house, but my kids look forward to coming to Mathnasium this summer! The owners, as well as the youth instructors, make it a lot of fun with their theme days and great games.

I have no doubt the first few weeks back at school will be a breeze for my kids because they have kept up with their math this summer. Thank you for making math fun!
