Client Testimonials
Quality of instruction, overall vibe of space.
Great instructors!
The size of Namaste is a perfect fit for me personally, and I think it provides a full, energized environment without causing people to feel lost in the shuffle. My partner and I had never gone to yoga before when we started at Namaste, and the instructors paid special attention to us and have continued to care for our practice as we've become monthly members. There is also great attention to detail paid (i.e. cleaning cloths for our mats, spare mats/blocks/straps/bolsters/blankets to borrow, and tea after every class), which makes each visit feel like a whole and relaxing experience. I also love that Namaste is involved in the local community of Highland Park- it was so fun to visit during NELA!
Bethany is incredible...also love the studio in general! Just great
The various types of yoga classes and the simplicity of the studio
Great teachers! Beautiful space!
Friendly, knowledgable staff. Clean studio and props. 1 hour classes.
I like the variety of classes, as well as the teachers, especially Ani!
Friendly and efficient.
Everyone at Namaste is friendly and helpful. I really like the atmosphere of the classes which is focused and challenging but also relaxed and welcoming.
The atmosphere is welcoming and the staff and instructors are approachable and kind. The classes are specific, thoughtful and they deliver. (I've answered this survey before, but don't mind reiterating. Maybe three times would be too much though. Please mark me as "surveyed," thanks.)
Everyone at Namaste is friendly and down to earth. The teachers mix up their routines each week, so it never gets boring. Namaste is a true part of the community!
Friendly staff , intimate experience , great instructors (love Steve! ) and amazing tea!
Calm atmosphere, open and airy studio, great instructor (attentive but not intrusive)
Its close and convenient and some of the instructors are good. If classes are to continue in the back converted garage, then resurfacing the floors is a must. Balancing poses are difficult with uneven floors. As the studio becomes more popular, you might want to consider making the front room bigger to accommodate more people.
At times it can be extremely hot, stuffy, lack of oxygen. Please use the air conditioning on hot days. I actually avoid going to class on hot days now.
Friendly and informed.
Close by, clean, friendly, caring, community-oriented,
Steve. Best Yoga Teacher.
Studio. Dig the forest vibe.
Store. Nice teas and cool yoga threads.
Good music, rosemary scents, mats available in case you forget.
Good job!
Friendly and knowledgeable teachers. Namaste is an oasis from my busy life. I would recommend this place for everyone.
Teachers play good music....variety of styles/levels
Warm and welcoming atmosphere. Great instructors. Good monitoring of my progress through certain positions. Love Ani's music!
The teachers are wonderful! Haven't had a bad class yet! Only thing would be more mixed level flows throughout the week after 6 PM for the 9-5ers
Friendly staff. You offer blocks, blankets and mats which not everyone has. Complimentary tea.
the studio is lovely, clean and feels welcoming
It's close to home and every teacher is great. Ani is my favorite. So awesome.
Excellent classes and teachers, lovely space, warm reception every time, many class times to choose from, nice little touches like tea! :)
The instructors are cool, knowledgable, and have different styles.
I like that there are so many classes throughout the day. Some studios have primarily evening classes but morning classes work best for my work schedule so I really appreciate the 8am, 9am and 10am classes, as well as free yoga with Nora on Sunday's. Also the teachers are so warm and I love all the flow classes. I want to try the sculpt class ASAP! Another thing I like: my boyfriend feels comfortable coming with me because there are a lot of men that come to class at Namaste. I don't think that's always the case with other yoga studios so I appreciate that a lot!
One note: I recommended namaste to my mom and while she loved the teachers and the space, felt like most of the classes were too vigorous for her ability level as a 60+ year old with some aches and pains! She decided not to purchase a membership and I think she would have found it more worth while if there were a few more classes that were gentler than the flow classes but still interesting and challenging for her!
They accommodate to your abilities!

great space, great teacher, good variety ofclasses
