The centre manager and the tutors at the Cambridge Mathnasium location have literally changed the trajectory of my daughter's schooling. COVID and absenteeism from anxiety took a multi-year toll on her, and by grade 10, she wasn't just failing math... she was getting 3% on tests and was depressed and isolating herself. We reached out to the Mathnasium for help, and within 3 months, the staff had assessed her and determined that she was missing several foundational concepts, AND they had moved her from 3% to 48% in her class. They continued to work with her during her math credit recovery process the following term, and she was able to pass grade 10 math by the end of June. This week, after continuing to work with her tutors for grade 11 math, my daughter nearly burst through the doors of the centre to tell the team that she had got 80% on her first grade 11 math test! I’m so glad I signed my daughter up for this amazing program. She loves coming she’s learning so much and it’s raised her confidence, her grade 4 teacher said she’s even seen an improvement in school. It has been a great experience since joining with Mathnasium. My son is in Grade 8, has been going for 1 month and I can see the improvement in his math work. Their teaching method is very skillful, that makes children understand the concept for math very easy. The way they try to motivate children so they don't run away from the math problem, instead they try to solve the problem.
I personally thanks all the instructors for all there hard efforts and time they are contributing towards each kid in the class.

I found the teachers to be very professional. They really know math.

I’ve only been going to Mathnasium for a few weeks but I’ve noticed drastic improvements in my ability to grasp concepts and do mental math. The worksheets are catered to each students needs and they help you strengthen your building blocks in math. It’s astonishing how many times a problem you are having now can be solved by going back and looking at the basics. I’ve had a great experience with the tutors, as they bring their own techniques and methods into perspective as well which really helps you expand on your thinking.

You provide great feedback for the parents as well as helpful incentives for the children to perform better. The math levels seem well planned out in terms of a natural progression with enough difficulty to challenge them but also enough comfort so as not to discourage them from growing. The instructors are very positive and seem to be able to help and guide the students just enough so that they can become more independent. I also love the flexibility of class times.
