My daughter was preparing to transition from a Montessori school to a traditional school for 7th grade. She had some gaps in her math knowledge, so we started Mathnasium. They tested her and created a learning plan that she worked on for several wks at her own pace, and then they assessed her progress w/a progress check (test). She had tutors available to help her along the way. She liked earning points that she could use to get little prizes. Within 5 months she caught up with the concepts she was missing & reviewed the ones she knew. It helped build her confidence to move up to 7th grade. I recommend this location (West Cobb).

My daughter has improved in her math exponentially with the support of Mathnasium. She is more confident about her school math and other math competitions. I like the individualized tutor attention and multiple reminders of class time. They do their best to reschedule you and provide periodic feedback of how you child is doing.

My experience with Mathnasium is very good. I wish I started this for my kids earlier. There has been marked improvement on my children's math scores. In areas where they were struggling, I was able to talk with the director, to focus on those areas. The staff really is flexible and tries their best to work with family needs. This has been a completely positive experience for my son. He has worked with a few different members of staff who have not only helped to understand his work, but showed him how to see it in different ways. Looking at a problem from all angles has helped him start looking for his own ways to solve problems and figure out the math.
