My 8th grade grandson started with Mathnasium (Chatsworth, CA) in February and was sitting as a solid 'F' in math. He finished the semester in June with a strong 'B'. The staff was not just good at teaching the concepts he needed, but were strong encouragers that made him WANT to learn and gave him a strong sense of pride in his learning.
Prior to this, this same Mathnasium location got him through a tough 5th grade math year during the pandemic school shut down. The teachers at that time were also exceptional.

The Tutors spends time with the students and they are very knowledgeable. They bonus is they are not only helping and teaching them, they are also trying to engage a conversation with them which I love so much because it is helping my child with his social skills as well. Now, my son is very comfortable, happy and excited to go to Mathnasium every single time, he said he feels at home with all the Tutors.
