My settlement, as a seller, on TH Aug. 15 was started promptly at the assigned time. It was efficient & various sheets were explained before I signed them. Emily S. was the person in charge of the settlement for Universal Title.
Later, I requested a printed copy of the settlement papers since I have a quite limited "print service" through Instant Ink, which meets my needs as a retiree. The papers were printed & available when I suggested a time when I could pick them up at the office.

The entire experience was a smooth one, from the initial introduction to Yanett, to the final step, the closing. Yanett was patient, handling my many questions whether it was over the phone or via email. She always responded in a timely fashion and with clarity. Closing went smoothly as well. Warm greetings from the group, which included thoughtful touches such as the listing picture of the home displayed on the screen in the conference room, and the fact we moved at a comfortable pace in discussing the many forms that needed to be signed. The team not only understood my needs in the closing process but also easily translated the forms into a language that was easy to comprehend. The process was less anxiety producing than it might have been for a first-time home buyer like myself.
