Our maids (Jessica and Janice are the best! Always so friendly but extremely efficient.
Take less shortcuts when cleaning. There are two areas I use to evaluates the quality of the work done, the kitchen and the bathroom. In the kitchen I look at the stove, the counter tops and the in the corners of the floor, in the bathroom I look at the toilet the counter tops and the floor around the toilet and in the corners. The kitchen stove looked wonderful, probably better than it has looked since we bought it but when when the refrigerator was cleaned off he dust from the top went all over the beautifully cleaned stove as well as the counter tops and was not wiped off or if it was it was not done very well. The floor was mopped and the corners were fine. The cabinets were cleaned and looked beautiful. The microwave was cleaned inside and out and was quite nicely done. Overall I was satisfied with the kitchen, The bathrooms were most unsatisfactory. The toilets were wiped clean on the outside but not cleaned on the inside. Anything sitting on the counters was not moved when the counters were wiped down. The floors were mopped with a very large mop, they really needed a bit more work than mopping especially around the toilets and in the corners and these areas were definitely not satisfactory. So you can see the bathrooms did not meet with my standard. The vacuuming was satisfactory until she got to the living room. At that point it appeared to me that the bag was full and it just was not picking up as it had been doing because trust me, it picked a LOT of cat hair from my bedroom and hall so I don't doubt that the bag was full and if it had been changed would have done a much better job. I believe the women both worked very hard and I will be the first one to admit my house was no easy job but the area's I noted are important area's to me. I appreciate their hard work and would like to give them another chance to improve.
