Awesome community of students and coaches! Easton's curriculum provides a high level of instruction as well as a safe place for new students to learn Jiu-Jitsu. Easton provides new students with a good base knowledge of techniques and positions to prepare them for live training. Students are very supportive and welcoming of new members.

It has been an activity our boys look forward to every week. Especially in the light of covid, it has made something feel mostly normal for them. The staff, coaches, and management are all friendly and knowledgeable- taking time to learn names, ask questions, and listen to feedback. They all walk the talk which is what we were looking for when trying to find a martial arts gym. We definitely see ourselves attending Easton for a long time.
I love the friendly atmosphere. I like the way the coaches stress avoidance of conflict in the “real world.” I love the way that the higher belts are willing to roll with and help the lower belts. I love the lack of douchebags. When I start to act just a little bit like that, higher belts take me aside and gently explain to me that I should not be doing this or that. I really appreciate that guidance from those who have been there a lot longer than I have. There’s a wonderful camaraderie at Arvada!
Everyone is so welcoming and friendly. The environment is supportive and I felt totally fine coming in as a beginner.
Classes are structured well with emphasis on drilling the basics, chaining takedowns to dominant positioning to finishing, and ending class with free rolling to put into practice what you have learned. Everyone is helpful and encouraging while making it difficult enough for progression so you feel like you earn every class.
