Our 2nd grader really struggled with math to the point of becoming completely frustrated with it all. As with my own father, I struggled to connect with her and help her with math. Before mathnasium my son was struggling with Math. Mathnasium helped my son by working on each concept at a time patiently. This really encouraged him . I am very grateful to mathnasim for helping my son.

We have tried other programs with limited success. Mathnasium offers a robust customizable curriculum to address each child's individual needs. Currently, we have two children enrolled. The ratio of instructors to students allows for a tutoring experience almost every time. The instructors are well educated, well groomed, patient, kind, and always encouraging. The classrooms are clean, bright, decorated with math images and inspirational quotes, creating a positive learning environment. They offer no set days or times to attend. This flexibility easily conforms with schedules that are ever-changing! You simply come in when it suites you, and, when you leave, there is no math homework! This is helpful for parent(s) and student(s) as it seems to eliminate monotony/burn-out, and keeps things fresh. In addition, Mathnasium is there to help with any questions or problems the school may assign. The instructors truly care about your child and want to take away the "stigma of failure" that can follow some struggling students. For math geniuses, this program will meet them where they are and will take them where they want to go! The reward/punch card system is very creative, better than others we have experienced. The prizes are in tune with current trends, making them motivational for the children. They learn to set goals and to manage their punch cards to get bigger items - if they want. Overall, the results I have seen are amazing! Both my children actually enjoy attending, and that right there, is the best endorsement!

Her weekly sessions have been an incredible confidence boost. The incentives, amount of review prior to assessment, and additional methods of thinking about concepts have all been eye opening and have built her skills so much.

I received a progress report recently which was nice to have some feedback but more frequent communication would be helpful to have a better gauge on progress especially when it can take some time for the work to correlate with grades in school. This would be a good tool to have because sometimes poor results on a test can be discouraging for both kids and adults but seeing information that highlights achievement of certain skills mastered can help with the dialogue. Overall I’m seeing more confidence in my daughter’s abilities and improved grades which is encouraging! I also appreciate the great partnership with the owner, very professional and responsive.

My son is easing into the methods utilized by Mathnasium and has become a bit more excited to go learn math.

Never expected for my granddaughter to keep an "A" during her 8th grade year. Math has always been very challenging for her throughout her school experience, but now she loves this subject like I never expected her to. Thanks to Mathnasium for all you have done to raise her self esteem. Now there is no stopping her. She LOVES MATH.

My daughter has struggled with math for many years. We have tried many ways to advance her skills, but nothing has compared to our first month with Mathnasium! My daughter doesn’t complain on the days she attends, and always says she feels more confident when we leave!!

David and the team have been excellent in getting the kids right from the start line and making them not only catch up with their peers but also outperform them. My son enjoys learning at Mathnasium and he is engaged during the whole class. The curriculum and material are engaging. We can certainly see great improvement in our child's math skills.

Sebastian start no longer ago and since he started we saw a great improve in his math skills , specially his understanding , he is getting 80's and 100's in his tests, and teacher said he is improving tremendously. I can't thanks enough for the great job they are doing with him .
Our house is much more in peace at homework time now. :)

All of the tutors are great with my son. They are patient and very kind. My son also enjoys the fun little activities through the month.

It’s great for my daughter so far. I don’t think after only 3 weeks I can evaluate much except. It is a lot easier to get her to do her homework.it isn’t a battle to get her to go. I am excited to see the improvement a summer can make. .
