My daughter struggled in math greatly. We decided to try Mathnasium when she was failing math in 7th grade. She continued Mathnasium until after 8th grade, when COVID-19 ruined everything. She kept up with online Mathnasium through the spring of 2020, and Mathnasium instructors did a great job with that change. I decided that my daughter needed a break and thought we would see how math went for her in high school.

She's in 10th grade now and two weeks into the school year, including a couple of quizzes, my daughter is currently sitting at 100%!! I believe the fundamentals she learned from Mathnasium have stuck with her and that is the reason for her early success.

Additionally, my son, who has always excelled in math, asked if he could go to Mathnasium with my daughter for fun. He went intermittently during his 5th grade year. Last spring we learned that the school had decided to put him in the accelerated math class for his 7th grade year. So far, he says that he's having fun in that class, where he used to say math was boring and he didn't like it.

I fully intend to re-enroll my daughter in Mathnasium if she begins struggling again. I hope she doesn't have to because it is time consuming and a big commitment. And, of course, there is the cost; however, the money was of little consequence to me to see my daughter passing math instead of feeling defeated by and lost with math. I would definitely recommend Mathnasium to any parent who's child is struggling with math.

Additionally, with my son's experience, I would recommend Mathnasium to any parent who's child is gifted in math and needs a challenge. Mathnasium gave my son an extra "boost" to get him into a class that challenges him.

Staff are very consistent and familiar with the subject. The staff works well with my child and We see a difference in his math abilities.

My 6 year old granddaughter absolutely loves coming here twice a week!! We are so pleased with Mathnasium!

My son has improved his math skills in only the 4 months he has been going. The tutors are kind and knowledgeable. Honestly, he does not always want to go, but when he has success at school with math he acknowledges that the tutoring is helping him. In the spring during lockdown I noticed how he was struggling with certain concepts that he seemed to have missed. Mathnasium helps revisit the concepts that he doesn’t know to make math going forward much easier. I highly recommend.

Mathnasium has been an excellent experience for my son! He started during Kindergarten to help nurture his love of numbers. My son has loved working with teachers. Gayathree, the director, has been very encouraging and kind. She has been receptive to ensure that my son is challenged without becoming overwhelmed. In addition to math skills he has developed, my son has enjoyed the fun prizes he earns along the way:)

He went to the dentist recently who informed him you have 11 teeth and 10 teeth. Do you know how many teeth you have? My 6 year old son smiled and instantly responded 21! I appreciated his mental math!

Mathnasium has been an absolutely great learning tool. The personalized curriculum give opportunity to identify and successfully strengthen their weak areas. The staff is very receptive, engaging, super attentive .... almost like having a personal tutor at home!!
Definitely recommend this to anyone who wants to improve and excel!

Our kids' math skills have improved a lot. They are now feeling more confident with the subject. Our students have been with Mathnasium for four months and they have diligently and willingly attended their virtual classes three times a week. They look forward to getting more advanced in their math skills so they can be at a big advantage when classes start in the fall.

My only hope would be as a parent to somehow have more feedback or knowledge of how the progress is going. Because my son doesnt feel like he's learning much new, which I'm sure is not true. But it would be nice to have more feedback.

My son enjoys going, so that is great. My only comment would be their website is nice to schedule appointments but it's not very useful otherwise. It would be nice to get some sort of progress report on how he is doing with his lessons, where he is at, etc.

The kids enjoy mathnasium - they make it fun and they find the tutoring helpful. I love that they cab bring their math homework to get help with.

My daughter was failing math last year. She finished her 7th grade year with Bs thanks to Mathnasium. My son loves math and started Mathnasium in the summer, just for fun. At his first conference, his math teacher said he knew concepts no other students in class had a clue about. He said "whatever you are doing, keep it up; it's working!"

My daughter HATED math. She didn't understand it and wanted nothing to do with it. After just a few months of working with Mathnasuim, she actually asks to go and enjoys learning. The instructors do a great job relating to the kids, and are so patient when kids are struggling to catch on. I had my doubts about the success of our decision to send my daughter, and couldn't be more thrilled with the results.
