Fantastic place for the kids to learn math! Great staff and owner!

We’ve had our three grandkids (Kindergarten, 2nd grade & 7th grade) in Mathnasium over the last few months and results have been outstanding. Both confidence and grades have greatly improved.

Mathnasium has made a major impact in helping my 12-year-old son with understanding, and remembering fundamental math facts and concepts. Though school is not his favorite part of the day, he has improved substantially over the past 14 months.

Julie and her team at Mathnasium Yorktown have been amazing. They are helping my daughter fill in the gaps in her understanding of math concepts. The COVID years set kids back whole grade levels in their math development and understanding. Mathnasium is helping them catch back up and get ahead!

Mrs. Julie and Mrs. Michelle are amazing. My son has only been going to tutoring for about 5 months. In this small time he has improved so much in math. When he started here he was on a 1st grade level while being a 4th grade student. His school was doing the bare minimum to help him even with him having a IEP. Before coming here he had no clue the difference money amounts much less how to count money. He still struggles at times but now has the confidence in himself that he tries all the time and is usually correct.
This facility is not just to teach them math, its more. They help, and praise the kids. Reward them for their efforts and that raises their confidence. It was a rocky start but now he loves to go see Mrs. Michelle.
I can not thank the staff enough for all they have done to help my son.

While my kids complain and groan whenever I tell them it's time to go to math practice...by the time they leave they say they had fun.

Everyone that works there is fantastic! The tutors are amazing and my son loves to go. They really care and give as much as the kids are willing to soak in. It's great. I reccommend for anyone of any age to think about gong there if your weak suit is in math. It can help for anyone....young or old.

Mathnasium has really turned my daughter's math experience around. Not only is she getting better at it, which is great, don't get me wrong, but her attitude towards math has done a complete 180. She used to dread math, but now, even if she doesn't 100% understand a topic, she's much more confident in her approach to learning it because Mathnasium has given her all the tools to do so. Due to this confidence, she's much less negative. Doing math homework used to end in tears, and now it's no big deal. She even enjoys GOING to Mathnasium! I can't assign a specific reason, but I can tell you it's nothing I've done! I wish I could rate them an 11/10. Also, for the parents...super flexible, they'll work with you on days/hours and even the rate (if you're gone for an extended period). I'll be honest and say there was some sticker shock, but if you break it down by the hour, you're paying the same, if not less, than you'd pay to have a private tutor who wouldn't come with the amazing resumes and resources at work in Mathnasium...not to mention the prizes and snacks!
