my 9th grader started high school this year, I'm assuming he forgot math over the summer and pandemic situation. After the first 7 weeks, his algebra grade was a whopping 8... Yes... An 8... two weeks after re-enrolling him back into Mathnasium, he was able to bring his grade all the way up to a 68, He just missed that 70 and Even though it wasn't a passing grade, I was extremely proud of his effort. His exact words where "Mathnasium makes it easy to understand" I am extremely happy that he was able to relearn what he needed to be successful in Algebra, His confidence level is much higher now. So the new goal for the second quarter is 90 percent! Thank you Mathnasium, you are worth every single penny!

I started my daughter here because I believe she's been developing gaps in her math skills since 2nd grade (she's currently in 3rd). She seems to enjoy the variety of ways she can earn rewards, and I think she's gaining more confidence in the short amount of time we've been bringing her here. I'm anxious to see her begin using more of what I understand mental math to be and stop using her fingers to count. But overall, I'm truly pleased with how Mathnasium seems to have instilled some confidence in her ability to do math, at the center and at school.

In the beginning, my son was resistant to the idea and did not want to go. Now he enjoys attending and his math grade is improving. I did not think it was possible for him to learn math with a smile on his face.

Both of my kids are most of the time excited to share what they learned. There are times they said, we learned nothing new, just went over the same thing but I explained repetition is sometimes good to keep it in your memory. They are learning because they can explain step by step and teach us the math methods. Very glad we made the choice to bring them in. We only planned to keep them for the summer only but they asked they could continue attending throughout the school year.
