I started my daughter here because I believe she's been developing gaps in her math skills since 2nd grade (she's currently in 3rd). She seems to enjoy the variety of ways she can earn rewards, and I think she's gaining more confidence in the short amount of time we've been bringing her here. I'm anxious to see her begin using more of what I understand mental math to be and stop using her fingers to count. But overall, I'm truly pleased with how Mathnasium seems to have instilled some confidence in her ability to do math, at the center and at school.

In the beginning, my son was resistant to the idea and did not want to go. Now he enjoys attending and his math grade is improving. I did not think it was possible for him to learn math with a smile on his face.

Our daughter was struggling with Pre-Calc and when we had her evaluated at Mathnasium, they discovered she was weak in some of the basic knowledge she had learned in 6th grade. Honestly I can’t express how grateful we are, that we finally found a place where my kids can learn and have fun while doing it; we have tried other places with different learning methods, very exhausting and stressful, for both parents and kids, only focused on repetition.
Mathnesium Bulverde has become a very important resource for my kids, they have been able to excel in math but at the same time, enjoy it, they love to go there and learn new things; their grades went up, not only in math but in other subjects too, and it’s because they feel very encouraged and confident. It has been a blessing to belong to the Mathnesium Bulverde family, not only do they teach your children, but they really care for them; the instructors are highly trained, and you can see their interest in teaching the children correctly. It has been a very important tool to avoid fustrations at home, because in many occasions we did not know how to explain their math homework, very hard for the parents and their kids. As for, the director of the center, Ms Neelam, I am more than satisfied, she is very sweet, dedicated person, really cares for the kids, she has a lot of passion and patience for teaching. this place has become a blessing for my family, I recommend it 100%! I wish more people experience the peace that we now have, knowing our kids are in a safe environment learning, and feeling more confident. We highly recommend it!

My daughter just took her first assessment after 6 months at mathnasium and I am beyond pleased with the results. She was given a test over all the material covered in the past 6 months and improved her score from 58% to 98%! She feels so proud of herself and is excited to continue with mathnasium.

Both of my kids are most of the time excited to share what they learned. There are times they said, we learned nothing new, just went over the same thing but I explained repetition is sometimes good to keep it in your memory. They are learning because they can explain step by step and teach us the math methods. Very glad we made the choice to bring them in. We only planned to keep them for the summer only but they asked they could continue attending throughout the school year.

Very professional and organized. Kids check in for their hour session and don't waste time. All instructors are very knowlegable and patient with their students. Their interest and professionalism shows as their students scores continually rise as does their students cconfidence.

At the end of the first semester of 5th grade my son had math average of 75 (all other subjects were 88-96 range) and would routinely have to take daily quizzes twice due to failing the first attempt. At the end of the 2nd semester (Jan-June) he has brought his math average up to 90 and has only done poorly on 1 quiz. He was reluctant to go to Mathnasium because he thought it was for dumb kids......he considered himself dumb because of his math grades. Now his confidence is much higher (he thinks he is one of the smart kids now) and he says he enjoys it and likes interacting with the teachers. My plan is to continue with Mathnasium through the summer and 1st semester of 6th grade to make sure he is where he needs to be to ensure future success.
