We started coming to mathnasium as a recommendation from a friend as my son was behind significantly in math. His confidence was gone and I honestly didn’t know what else to do at this point because we had tried everything. Since starting I have watched my son not only grow several grade levels in math in less then a year but see his confidence grow and I can confidently say it’s due to coming here. It’s also a very accommodating place we are a larger family and I sometimes have to make changes to our schedule last minute they always do their best to work with me in getting him in where they can for the same day when and if possible so I don’t lose our session for that day. I recommend this place to everyone.

My daughter is so excited to go to each session, which is such a wonderful change from math literally making her cry. She really feels like she understands the methods concepts the way that they are being taught to her now, and her math anxiety had improved drastically!

Mission Gorge Mathasium has been a fantastic and effective resource for our daughters from Elementary thru High School. They push the students with a thorough & relevant cirriculum above and beyond the SD Unified classroom, as well as provide assistance with their regular school homework. This has been invaluable! They have helped ensure that my daughters have solid foundation in Math. And, throughout COVID, Mathnasium was always there to support the students. They adapted to online sessions which stabilized learning opportunities during extremely difficult times. Tommy and his staff have always been supportive, flexible, knowledgable, and professional. We are Thankful to have found Mathnasium so many years ago and happy we made the investment in our children's education.
Excellent caring staff , with individual attention
I enrolled my 2 kids in Mathnasium when they were in 4th grade...1 of them is now on her way to UCDavis. Best investment i could have ever done...never heard "i am struggling with math", such a nice ride. Don't overthink this, it is 110% worth it.
We absolutely love it our Mathnasium! My daughter is greeted with enthusiasm, smiles and such great energy every time she comes. The staff is so amazing - positive, funny, and supportive. Even if one day my daughter is caught up on her math skills, we will continue to come here…it’s just that good support she needs to keep math positive in her education.

Tutors were great and Tommy was very quick to respond to any of my questions or concerns.

Kevin at mathnasium is amazingly patient and nice. My son has had a great experience and we plan to keep coming. All the employees there are also very patient and easy going. They all know how to teach kids in a way that is fun. I would recommend to any parent to send their kids here.
Our son has learned to not be afraid of math and appreciates learning how to approach the subject, raising his grade in school.
Very friendly environment except for on old lady, I don’t know her name, but she was very rude with my sister in-law. She talked in a rude way that she could not stay in there no even for the fact that she didn’t have a place where to wait for my daughter. …. The way how she talked was very rude!

Mathnasium makes learning math fun! My daughters love attending their session time and would attend daily if they could. Great place to encourage learning over the summer and throughout the school year.
Hours not always convenient
Ashton has started using the math he is learning everywhere we go! For example “there is six because 3 plus 3 is 6”. He was even skip counting for his speech therapist! It is super cool to see.

My kids have enjoyed it, been engaged, and learned a great deal this year. My only suggestion would be to make sure instructors are always professional with their students. I know they are young, but they shouldn’t be talking about their girlfriends, boyfriends, parties, etc with elementary school kids.
My child’s high school math grade went from a C to and A this semester. She worked so hard and Mathnasium gave her the confidence to work on her weak subject.
Tommy and his team help our son tremendously with his mathematics skills on every level. He’s improved significantly thanks to Mathnasium!

We love it here. Zoe got behind in math during home schooling she had to start junior high and it was a struggle. Luckily we got her enrolled and she had a great year This year will be even better as she has been able to fill in the missing gaps and catch up. Thank you
