We enjoyed private swim lessons at the Y. I’m glad the Y offered this option. My son is a good swimmer but needed extra coaching with his advance strokes and the private classes he took at the Y helped him build his confidence and technique. His teacher was a young adult (woman) who was an experience swimmer, which helped him relate and feel at ease.
Good instructors, friendly neighbors taking same classes I do. Caroline is GREAT!!! Love her Silver Sneakers class.

The swim lessons are wonderful! My twins love their teacher Dmitri and they have fun during their swim lessons.

Your private swim lessons are awesome. Your instructors are knowledgeable, kind, and patient with the students. I would definitely recommend you for swim lessons.
The program was great! The instructor was attentive and informative, as well as kind. My only complaint is that the restroom at the facility (Pickerel Park) was filthy. On different days there were used toilet paper, urine, or feces on the floor in the ladies restroom and on at least one of the days, it was not cleaned up from the day before.
My son had coach Samuel. He did a fantastic job with the kids and my son grew so much over the two weeks! We had a previously horrible experience at another swim school and we were very nervous for the new experience. Within two lessons Samuel had gained my son’s trust and was able to learn so much! We will be back!
They are an affordable lesson for water safety.
We loved the kindness and adaptability of the preschool swim program. I love that I was able to get in with my son who struggles with new situations. He gained so much confidence and we are so grateful.
I love water aerobics, but I also feel that the class should be open up more than 20 people.
And the reason why? Because people go in and sign up and don't show up. Then the percent up front desk act as if they a police officer.
But I still highly recommend the YMCA love the place.
How my child is able to socialize with other kids her age. Staff is great in communicating and engaging with the children.
I like everything about the Born Y. The equipment is excellent, the facilities clean and well-maintained and the staff is friendly and welcoming.

I like that swim classes are offered in different scheduling formats, the 2 week daytime classes in summer always work best for us. I also like that the swim instructors are effective and have great patience and build rapport with my daughters.
It was our first time taking classes outside of the location closest to us, the Westside YWCA. The Mays located at Potranco and Hwy 151 is a much newer upgraded facility. I hope that the YWCA at Westside will be upgraded soon, and that swim classes will be offered there too.
