My son's confidence in tackling math problems has hit the point he actively volunteers to answer questions in class. That was not happening before Mathnasium.

My 12 yo daughter was doing very well in math but wanted to be challenged more so she’d be ready for the standardized tests and more importantly the specialized HS tests She loved it and really got ahead of the curve which is what she wanted. Now our 10 yo who also is adept at math is taking classes and is excited to go even though it means two hours after school. She is excited to go and also loves the instructor and it is on Pineapple Walk is very convenenient to PS8 and MS 8.

Mathnasium is a nurturing environment where independent thinking and personal growth go hand in hand with math learning. Students at Mathnasium are listened to and all teachers are well prepared and reachable. They help the students build not only content knowledge, but also confidence.

Carl and his team run a great program. They do not teach to the test. They teach kids how to do math. Mathnasium in Brooklyn Heights, is convenient and the instructors work very well with the students. A great addition to the neighborhood.

It has been great. Hoping that my daughter can come back once she settle with the new school.
