If you are looking for a math tutoring program, I highly recommend Mathnasium of Rockford. The tutors will work with your kid's one on one making sure they understand math easily. Personally, we noticed a big improvement on my daughter's grades since we started and my kids love the tutors there, especially Ingrid.
They have great summer programs if you are not interested in full time tutoring. Defiantly a must try if you are looking for math tutoring !

Very happy with Mathnasium.
My daughter start at the end of 4th grade. She scored about 2 grade level. A year later she has been on the 5th grade A/B honor roll all year. She has been placed in 7th grade math class for her 6th grade, next year.
I am very please and I tell people about Mathnasium and our success with it.

Our family is so impressed with the professionalism and the individual attention Mathnasium staff has shown our daughter. They really have helped her achieve her individual goals. Ingrid is a caring, intellectual person and takes as much time as needed to assess and plan a strategy for her client's success. Mathnasium has been a very successful tutoring program for our children! Their systematic and highly individualized approach to teaching mathematical concepts has been what has taken our children to levels they had not been able to reach through other math curricula. One of our children was needing to prepare for an upcoming ACT, and his score jumped 7 points from his previous ACT math score. Another child had been 3 levels below grade level, and through the patience, expertise, and kindness of his Mathnasium tutors along with the individualized curriculum, he is steadily progressing and enjoying his successes. Mathnasium has been a good fit for our family!

This was the greatest investment we have made for our children. They have grown more confident in math and their grades show it.

Most importantly, my son is enjoying the class and is eager to go every time! As a parent, i am pleased that the coursework is highly structured and challenging for the young minds. We haven’t been at Mathnasiem long but going into it my daughter had a lot of anxiety about math and she still has some but she has gotten a lot better about it. She enjoys going and is thrilled when she has mastered something. We will continue going and look forward to her progression. Thank you

My daughter is really struggling with Algebra and Ingrid has worked with us to get her a personal plan for what her needs are.

My son is doing great in 6th grade Math after 6 months of lessons at Mathnasium. It definitely helped him gain skills and confidence in himself.
