I thought putting my daughter in tutoring would be a battle, but she really enjoys going. She is getting a better understanding of math and her confidence is going up. So happy we made this choice.
The manager for Mathnasium Waco, David, was fantastic. I can't recommend this location enough. My only regret is moving to a city where there isn't a Mathnasium location. My daughter really enjoyed the lessons and was learning at a pace she would never have just by attending her regular math curriculum at public school. Going to miss it!
We're thrilled with the progress my granddaughter has made and the staff, especially David, are awesome! Our granddaughter really enjoys her sessions and the instructors she works with are top notch!

Our child has gone up 2 grade levels since attending Mathnasium. He is enthusiastic to go. We are so relieved after years of watching him struggle and trying all of the different programs and suggestions by the schools we have finally found something that has proven results. I tell anyone who will listen and has kiddos struggling with Math. This is an investment in your child's success and getting them the help they've been needing!

We've had great experiences at Mathnasium in Waco, both in 2Phone number removed and this summer (2025). In fact, the Mathnasium camp is the only camp our rising 5th grader wants to do. Back in 2Phone number removed, our second grader was in Mathnasium at a time when her teacher wasn't really challenging her and we weren't really able to supplement much at home (chronically ill little brother, newborn baby). At Mathnasium, she made real progress and developed skills that had somewhat atrophied during this difficult time and most importantly, the tutors and David fostered her love for math. I think her time at Mathnasium might be why she was the first fourth-grader at her school to make the school's UIL number sense team, in spite of then undiagnosed ADHD, distracted presentation. At her school, the kids are challenged with i-readies; they read new material independently and then solve problems. She struggled to focus on them and complete them. She's working through some of the concepts that she couldn't master using these self-guided lessons and she comes out of each and every Mathnasium session in a great mood. I have nothing but great things to say. We plan to send our rising son to Mathnasium in the future--he doesn't have the same natural gift for math, but I know that the staff at the Waco Mathnasium would help him reach his true potential and help him cultivate a love for math as well. I envision Mathnasium in our lives off and on for the next 16 years, when the youngest graduates from high school.
My son is doing great in the Waco Mathnasium location and he absolutely loves the staff and he loves going every week. Oh and he is an A+ student in Math for the first time ever, so it's helping him tremendously.
Our son has come so far in such a short time. He enjoys going to Mathnasium and looks forward to each session. This is a huge factor in his progress there because you need the student buy-in to complete the recipe for success. While he is allowed to go at his own pace, the instructors encourage him to level up constantly. They teach him math in ways he can understand and make sure he gets it.. We can tell it has had an effect not just in his math class at school but in his overall confidence in he rest of his academic work. We are convinced this was the right place for our student and we are so glad to have found Mathnasium. David and staff know what they are doing and how to help a student find a path to success.

We felt welcomed the minute we walked through the door. Mathnasium has been an excellent experience for my daughter so far!
Our child was diagnosed with a math learning disability. Mathnasium assessed him and used methods to quickly pinpoint where he needed the most help and they hit the ground running. The environment is positive and the instructors are extremely engaging and make sure he understands the processes and concepts he needs to master. Scheduling is easy and the facility Director is always up to date with how our student is doing and ready to share his progress. We are still early in our student's tutoring with Mathnasium but we do know he is advancing in the short time he has been there with conversations with the instructors as well as progress reports sent to us. Our student is eager to attend all of his sessions even after a long day at school which is a testament to the staff knowing how to keep the students engaged and excited to work. They use alot of positive reinforcement that our student is responsive to keep on going and do his best. He trusts the instructors enough to feel safe asking questions and for clarification which he hardly has to do because they check on his understanding regularly. I have recommended Mathnasium to all of my friends looking for math help for their students.
Mathnasium is why our kiddo is making As this year. He has been working hard and started doing his homework on his own.

My daughter grew 9 points in one year on her NWEA MAP Math assessments. That’s almost a year’s growth for that assessment. We are pleased with her progress.

My kids love going to Mathnasium! They have so much fun learning there. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. My kids are always disappointed on days that they don’t have math. The skills our kids have learned at Mathnasium have allowed them to complete math problems quickly and with ease. We are so happy that we signed up for summer camp last year because it has grown into a love of all things math!
