We love the experience we have had so far and it’s really helping our son’s confidence. The only downfall is sometimes the ratio of student to teacher is too high and it’s hard for my son to get the attention he needs.

I am so grateful for the dedicated crew at Mathnasium on 85th street. Kathy, Michael and Paige are amazing. My daughter was struggling at school in grade 5 and we thought we would give this a try. Best decision we ever made. She is now more confident in her math skills and enjoys math class. If you are looking for something to help your child with math, there is no better choice.

We signed our daughter up to improve her confidence going into Gr 10. It’s going exactly as we hoped. She is doing great in school and no longer getting emotional prior to tests or assignments.
My daughter has found the format and the quality of tutors to be excellent. The ability to go 3 times per week and have such high quality help has helped tremendously.
My daughter was struggling with math in elementary school. When we brought her into Mathnasium, she was a little tentative as Math definitely wasn’t something she wanted more of. However after her initial assessment, a lesson plan was made for her that catered to her skill level while also giving her small challenges closer to her grade level. Within a year of consistant attendance, she’s now proficient in her grade at school and is much more confident and happy. I highly recommend this place, stick with it and don’t expect immediate results, it’s a process and they’ve got it down to a science.
My son now values his time at Mathnasium. He has seen positive results in school because of his hard work with Mathnasium's great tutors. Earlier this week, he asked to extend his Mathnasium experience to the rest of the school year (instead of 2-3 months).
We have been to Bayview and Sheppard Mathnasium for their Spring Break and their Math tutoring and had great experience with both programs.
They make the end to end experience: from assessment, to signing up for programs, to scheduling sessions effortless.
In addition, we are impressed by the team's ability to guide and instruct the math concepts and techniques in a smart and thought provoking way.
The teachers are nice and are easily able to explain various math topics.
