Mathnasuim is a wonderful resource for kids struggling not only with the material in math but also with math and test related anxiety which can be just as crippling to a kids academic career. Mathnasuim gives them the tools that allows them to bolster their confidence in their abilities, in a supportive environment. My daughter is an accelerated student in middle school. She was doing well in all of her classes with the exception of math, especially with the digital learning situation due to the pandemic. She actually was on the verge of failing math and having to attend Summer school to make it up. Math was a major point of stress for her. However, Mathnasium enabled her to pass her accelerated math class. She has continued with Mathnasium through the Summer, learning concepts she previously struggled with, and her confidence has improved immensely. In her own words "It's fun! It's a fun way to learn math and the tutors are very good."

My daughter has made tremendous turn around since she started with Mathnasium 1 year ago. She was 6 month behind with no confidence in math and was avoiding the subject after her 3rd grade for some reason... when Ms. Ludmilla gave a very thorough assessment and understandable, realistic recommendation, I knew I was at a right place. Sure enough, within the first 2 months, my daughter's attitude and confidence toward math changed! She was enjoying it again! By 6 months, she was surpassing her level, and now she is ahead in math by about 6 months! Only thing I want for her is to keep going. They don't stop her just because she's caught up. It is totally ok to be ahead and that's what she has been doing and she has become so much stronger in her mental math also! She loves the instructors and enjoys learning from them!
Challenges brought on with the Covid19 pandemic only required some tweak and we were able to continue learning digitally from our home!
I recommend Mathnasium to anyone - whether you need to catch up or you want to get ahead! Anyone will learn to love math there!

Ms. Ludmilla has been amazing from day one, the time I spoke to her about concerns of my daughter's math skills and lack of confidence. She was very attentive to what I had to say and she was very thorough with her assessment that I was very confident that her assessment wasn't just for her business but with genuine desire to help my child excel in math. Within few weeks I could see the difference in my daughter's attitude toward math, and her grades climbed up, and kept up with her A until the year end! She was 6 months behind when she started, but now she is actually ahead for her grade level! I love how the instructors are smart high school students because my daughter feels comfortable and gets inspired in a different way (than what us ancient people can provide), learns well and more than anything she is having a great time!! Everyone at the center is always so positive and happy! And what great opportunity for the high school students! You have to know your stuff to teach it, and you have to be patient too. It is such positive environment and situation for the instructors and for the students! My daughter looks forward to her math sessions each time!! Even with the pandemic, we are able to do Mathnasium @Home and have not had to miss out!
The periodical assessments and communication through 1:1 meetings are so helpful in learning my daughter's progress and builds even more confidence in just how awesome they are!

Our 7 year old daughter was getting nervous every time she approached her 2nd grade math homework. Sometimes she would cry. Now, she cannot wait for Math and she gets excited about going to Mathnasium. The change was almost immediate, after just a couple of sessions.
