Very quick to respond to emails and very open and honest on what’s best for your child. We have two kids on totally different sides of the learning spectrum and Sylvan was honest about their progress and where they need to be.

My kids really enjoyed going to the classes at Sylvan on site. They thrived on the person-to-person interaction and learning they received. I think the last few COVID months have really exhausted their attention span online. That said, they still enjoyed it, but I have now been presented with a learning opportunity that is less expensive, directed toward their school's curriculum, where I can manipulate the curriculum if I see fit, with homework, etc. with teachers from their school. I could pass it up.

I am seeing improvements with my daughter after a few sessions. I feel that the topics covered are meaningful and are helping her. With remote learning I am thankful my daughter has focused time with a knowledgeable person (other than me!) to ensure she continues to succeed.

The people as our Muskegon location are friendly and helpful. Their flexibility to meet our unique needs over the years has been wonderful. We will continue to utilize their expertise and programs in the future.
The ability to tutor virtually during these unprecedented times has been extremely helpful for my daughter. Our school has offered her zero instruction during homeschooling for the past 2+ months and I worry about her math skills declining and how that would affect her when she starts school in the fall.

I am happy with the services provided at Sylvan Learning Center, Lansing, MI for my granddaughter Keira, who is starting 7th grade. She has attended class for approx. 6 weeks.
Everyone on staff has been very helpful and has made Keira's time in class very productive.

Sylvan who recently retired. Everything she described to me about how great the learning center was, is truly how great it is.!!
