These are in no specific order and just off the top of my head. If I had the time available and concentrated, I am certain that I could recall other justifications for having Virginia Green maintain my lawn.
1. I invite all to look at my lawn and compare it to the rest of the neighborhood lawns. It is so green and thick, I tend to think I might be petitioned out of my neighborhood because my lawn definitely stands out.
2. Virginia Green uses quality fertilizer, and other components, not those which are popular from advertising and sold at the popular brick and mortar stores. Since that which they apply is not packed with fillers, the home owner actually saves money.
3. Once contracted, Virginia Green performs its lawn care at the precisely best time for the various applications. The employee leaves a brief on what he has done and any supplemental instructions for the land owner.
4. Whenever I speak with whomever comes to make the timely application(s), the employee demonstrates incredible knowledge and patiently answers any and all of my lawn questions.
5. Although the initial contracted price for lawn care (after a Virginia Green employee personally customizes a care plan) might appear steep, I have added up the cost of that which I have purchased from a reputable, specialized lawn and garden store for conducting the same maintenance Virginia Green provides. For my slightly over 1/2 acre, I pay roughly $400 more for Virginia Green to do the work. I think $400 is more than reasonable when compared to me having to find the time and allotting all the hours to make applications myself.
6. Virginia Green already has the specialized equipment its employees use to make applications and other services. This saves the customer several hundred dollars required to purchase quality machinery in order to do his own lawn care. I have found that a rather large expense for lawn equipment I only use maybe 15 hours a year. Once a home owner purchases this equipment, he has to find space to store it. NOTE: When I mention quality equipment, this includes durability for years. The advertised applicators, sold at the local box store are not quality. For just one season, I had to replace several of the name brand applicators. They literally broke apart in the midst of my work.
7. I am a disabled combat veteran with service connected disabilities. Except for mowing, lawn maintenance is very painful to me. Consequently, if anyone is not physically able to perform his own lawn care, the services Virginia Green provide are indispensable for lawn maintenance.
This pretty well sums up my justification for contracting Virginia Green to maintain my lawn.

I haven't had Virginia Green service my lawn for very long, so I can't judge the results yet. But, I have friends who have used Virginia Green for a couple years, and their lawns are lush, green, and free of weeds.
So far the personnel have been great to work with, and have been quick to respond to my messages.
