We had a terrific experience with the private tutoring provided by Mathnasium to our daughter who was taking AP Calculus. The entire staff is courteous, proactive and flexible - especially the Director, Maria Cueva. She and her team are problem solvers who were always looking for ways to improve the tutoring being offered. She participated in both online and in-person tutoring and found the tutors to be very knowledgeable and patient as they explained difficult concepts and worked through challenging problems. Our daughter is excited to be attending McGill University in Montreal, Canada this fall and I like to think her experience with Mathnasium helped her on her journey to becoming a scientist someday!

We have had a very positive experience with Mathnasium. Our children attended for many years and have developed agility and depth in math and geometry. Maria is excellent! She’s very responsive to the requests of the parents, spending considerable amount of time to tackle the kids’ learning needs with adequate tools.

Great flexibility with effective online learning.

We like the instructors and the option to take classes at home. At this stage, we don't see any need to return to in person. Please continue the optional on line classes even after the pandemic has subsided.

Mathnasium has been so good for my three kids. Maria Cueva is really wonderful! She is patient, and responsive. She’s extremely engaged, and maintains excellent communication. I can’t say enough about how helpful she’s been and how valuable her guidance has been. My kids really like all the tutors who work with them. They are doing very well in math at school and I think Mathnasium with one on one support and assessments have been undoubtedly helpful with their schoolwork, especially during 100% remote learning in Fairfax right now.

We are happy the program went on line, but I do think the cost is a bit too high to continue after our first year.

Roy, the Center Director, demonstrates exemplary leadership - whether in person or now, as we have had to move to a virtual learning platform. Roy is very present, professional and always ensures families feel connected and that any issues that arise are addressed satisfactorily. We would definitely recommend this center.
