My grandson attends Mathnasium. He is very good at math and in and advanced math class, in seventh grade. The math class moves along rapidly and the teacher is not able to explain a lot of things for any length of time so my grandson gets a bit overwhelmed. He always feels better when he can take his homework to Mathnasium and things are explained thoroughly to him. It makes it much less stressful for him. We also know that Mathnasium keeps him up to speed with all kinds of math. It makes seventh grade math much less stressful to all of us. Mathnasium has been making math fun for my son ever since he started in 1st grade. He does well in the classroom and on his standardized ERB's. Anytine there is an assessment at school, I take it directly to Melissa, the director, and if there are any area of concerns, she has the instructor go over those areas with my son. He looks forward both to his online and in person sessions.

My son loves going to mathnasium and the staff really help my son in mathematics and my son said that he has better understanding and has better confidence at school….

Mathnasium has been life changing for our daughter. She was struggling with math and the core curriculum after our move from North Carolina to Florida. The staff is wonderful and their system really works. Math is not my son's strongest subject by a longshot, and they've really helped him make great progress. Math used to bring such frustration and tears, and since joining Mathnasium I haven't heard one complaint. That's huge!

This is the second time for our daughter to attend Mathnasium Largo, the first being punctuated by a move further north in Pinellas County and of course the Pandemic. Mathnasium has adapted their fine quality of math education to the virtual environment, arguably with much greater effectiveness than the public schools or FLVS.

Our daughter looks forward to the online lessons, even after a full day of online learning with the public school. while she is technically learning ahead of grade level at this time, Mathnasium provides a solid introduction of new math topics, so the concepts are already familiar by the time they're are covered in school.
