My son absolutely loved this two days at Taste Beds, Beth and the other woman helper truly make the whole experience enjoyable and memorable for my son. I cannot say enough good things about Taste Buds Kitchen and their kind, efficient and fun staff. Our family had a blast and the food was delicious. This is an experience I've already recommended to everyone who has asked me about it.
The staff is amazing and they are teaching healthy and fun eating in the cooking camps. The cupcake classes are also great family friendly fun.
Atmosphere is great - feels like you're learning from a friend rather than a formal class. I find that less intimidating. Staff is certainly top-notch, knowledgeable, friendly and kept things moving while providing extra help to those who needed further assistance.
The teacher was very patient. The food was amazing.
Our 6 years old is signed up for 5 days of cooking camp and has already attended 2 of these days. We love that she learns how to cook, how to appreciate cooking that someone else does, as well as the fact that she is willing to try food she prepares. She comes back home with lots of lots of stories, experiences, and goodies!
I only wish that there was a full day camp like this (or maybe a partnership with other camp near by that will produce a full day option). My husband and I work, so we always look for full day camps for our kids, as we cannot get off work in the middle of the day to transport them between camps. There are 2 other places at the very same plaza that offer camps (i.e. Math Monkey and IXL Martial Arts). If there was an option to enroll my child into the morning camp with TBK and then one of the organizations will organize walking my kid to Math Monkey or IXL, then this will solve the issue, allowing us (and other working parents like us) to conciser TBK camp as a viable summer camp option.
Friendly, easy to follow directions, clean up crew were nice and had conversations with us. Good food!
Everything was delightful. The staff members were very friendly and helpful. The meal was amazing! The location was easy to access and bright and clean. I have told at least a dozen people about it. I hope you are there for a very long time!
