I have tried two other products for Insulin Resistance for my mare. At first she ate them, but shortly thereafter she started refusing it. The two horses who have been on Platinum Performance for years did not get "stress colic" during the Paradise fire when massive smoke rolled miles and miles away to blanket our area. The horse who had only been on Platinum for about two months DID get stress colic!
One of the horses is prone to chew on wood when he gets bored. We believe that Platinum helps whatever he ingests go through him much better. Of course, we have now put up a hot wire, capped fence posts with flashing, etc., to discourage his bad habit but knowing he's on Platinum twice a day makes us feel better about this horse's bad habit.
