I have one question though. Our area is selenium deficient and it was recommended by a vet to add selenium to the equine even though it contains selenium. Is this necessary?

My 25 year old horse could pass for 12 or younger! He has been on Platinum Performance consistently since he was 18 or 19, and I think the supplement has a lot to do with his continued health. He hasn't collicked at all since he's been on it, he's got a beautiful, shiny coat, and he is still healthy and sound and enjoys regular riding. He's the alpha in his herd of 8 geldings, even though all of them are bigger and younger than he is. We're even going on a long trail ride this weekend, which I know he will enjoy because he is fit and healthy. I know that at his age, I am very lucky that he is still so fit. So thanks, Platinum!
