The tutors and program at mathnasium have been a fantastic addition to my son's high school education . It's different from every other tutoring center because he not only works through the Mathnasium Packets (packets of mastery based work specifically chosen to address his gaps) but he can also get homework help every time he goes! Also he can go up to 6 times per week for an hour each time. We homeschool and are thrilled with the extra help and also the extensive Mathnasium worksheets. Your student will need the actual desire to get ahead as the worksheets are extremely in depth. The program suggested that my son work on Factoring quadratic equations amd he has done only that for an entire hour, four days per week for more than a month. This program can be repetitive but it weaves in conceptual thinking. With the cheerful encouragement, bright, welll lit and cheerful workspace and the overall love everyone has for math, my son is positive about his experience so far.
My son has made improvements since starting at mathnasium ! he is working his way up to his grade level and we feel confident that he will get there. thanks for all the help!
