Our family wanted to focus on confidence and the understanding that if you don't know an answer right away, or if you don't understand the equation, that is okay. Part of math is learning how to work the problem and what questions to ask. Our child has greatly improved their math skills and does not feel discouraged when they are confused or don't get the right answer. Our child now understands how to work through a problem, and in return, test scores and self esteem have greatly increased.

Our children really enjoy attending Mathnasium. They are learning topics now above their grade level and thriving in school. The instruction is fun, interesting, and keeps them challenged and focused. The instructors take the time and really make the effort to assist each child.
My daughter was falling behind in the 2nd grade, we began Mathnasium in November that year, and by the Spring, her grades improved, she was ahead of the average learning curve and had great reviews from her teacher about her improvement and that the work with Mathnasium was clearly working.
Math is more complicated than ever so it's nice having this resource for both parents and kids.

Mathnasium is really a great resource for children. My daughter was behind in math due to the pandemic and online learning. Within 7 months she improved significantly and not only understands math more but loves it.

Tanya was amazing -- she was warm and inspiring, and embraced our daughter with compassion and care during every interaction. She is an excellent role model for young women. The staff is composed largely of outstanding HS students. At first, I felt that my 9th grade daughter might feel intimidated by this, but she really enjoyed working with students/peers with whom she could relate. Even on the days that she was reluctant to attend, my daughter always emerged from her Mathnasium sessions with a big smile and in a great mood.
