Right from the first contact, we were very comfortable with Mathnasium, and Sandra was very professional and courteous and patient in explaining the various options for our daughter. It was exactly what Susy needed for the difficulties she was having with math concepts. She is also enthused about her Mathnasium tutoring experience, and feels more confident with her math assignments.

I love the Mathnasium! The experience has changed my daughter's whole outlook on Math.
However, I do find the need to schedule appointments the day before a bit limiting. Oftentimes, I don't know until my daughter comes out of school in the afternoon that she needs to go. However, I will say, the Mathnasium team is generally accommodating of these requests.

My boys really enjoy going to Mathnasium and getting some additional practise over the summer. Last time we went, they asked when they could come back.

I do have reservations because of the level of activity. Activity in the since of phone calls and distracted children. On the other hand, my children really like their tutors. If daily business communication could be located in a private office, that would really make a big difference in the atmosphere. The children should easily be able to communicate with their tutor.

Sandy is great! She is really approachable, and willing to listen to your concerns. She also responds to emails or text in a timely fashion.

My 9th grader had a great experience. When she started falling behind/having difficulty in one unit in Algebra 2 towards the end of the year, we contacted Mathnasium. She was able to pull her Algebra 2 grade up to an A during the last month of school & felt like the experience was well worth it and helpful. She is feeling more confident about her grasp of Algebra 2 concepts. She is traditionally a strong math student, and I would recommend Mathnasium for all levels.

He was reluctant to spend his time with Mathnasium and after the first session, he plans his time to make sure he is ready and prepared for his appointment time. He is now getting 100's on his test! My son has had the best experience at Mathnasium of West Lexington! Sandy is amazing and the instructors are all so knowledgeable and excellent teachers. The instructors have an ability to break things down so that he understands the material and is able to apply that knowledge in class and in his assignments/tests. (They really do help kids understand math by teaching the way that makes sense to them.) I love the fact that they tutor in higher level subjects like advanced precalculus. Not only do they provide homework help, they provide help for quizzes, tests, and ACT/SAT prep. The session times are flexible and convenient. (My son was able to go in on a Saturday to prepare for a test he had on Monday.) The prices are reasonable, especially for the quality of service you receive. I would not hesitate to recommend Mathnasium to anyone who wants/needs to give their child extra support in math.

Mathnasium has helped my son further his math skills and also helped him becoming more confident in speaking in a group setting I strongly recommend the center.

Both boys find the tutors kind and very helpful. Our 13-year-old, who is taking Algebra II this year, was pretty challenged in the fall, what with remote schooling. The Mathnasium tutors have him back on track.

At last Saturday's remote meeting, I could hear him explaining his process clearly for solving a particular problem, and I knew he was responding well to the method that you all use to teach. He told me afterwards that because each meeting allows him to discuss the concepts while applying them, he feels more comfortable than he was.

Mathnasium has helped my granddaughter get caught up on all of her math assignments. They are helping her build and rebuild some of the basics that she was missing. She felt lost in math class but now is much more confident and has a better understanding to go forward successfully.
