I’ve told a couple friends of our positive experience at Mathnasium and when my younger son is old enough, we want him to go there too. We have already seen an improvement with our son’s math, after one month, and he often tells us that his tutors are nice and patient.

It is been a month since my daughter started going to Mathnasium and she loves it. I hope she will get a good grade for Math in school next year.

Caring teachers and nice environment

So far my daughter wants to come every days but we have only been attending a month. I’m glad she says she is enjoying math now. During school she use to say she hated it.

She seems to be very engaged and the teachers seem to be good.

Our son actually thanked us for taking him and he looks forward to going by each time.

I can see my daughter’s confidence in math growing. Despite being at grade level and her teacher saying she was just fine, we brought her in because of all the tears and frustration over math that seemed to come. I think they are really building her confidence and giving her some neat ways to look at numbers to give them sense. Thanks Andre and your whole helpful team. It’s great that the moment she signs in, someone gets up, greets her and gets her started.

I've already done so. Easy, relatively affordable, mostly great available hours, etc. - sure wish you were open Friday but I understand that one needs a day or two off. :)

My daughter went over the course of the first few weeks from being NOT happy about this, to looking forward to going. Mathnasium has taken the pressure off her to do math and learn at a pace that works for her. I also really appreciate Andre’s ability to kindly, patiently listen and give great and thoughtful advice - it made me feel confident as a parent that my concerns around my daughter’s math performance in school were being heard and could be addressed.

Hi, my daughter Emily has really enjoyed her math sessions. She asked (on her own) to go again tonight to help her prep for her 4th grade trimester test tomorrow. Mathnasium in Albany is a bright spot in our efforts to help her with math (confidence, repetition, deeper understanding of the fundamentals). She enjoys interacting with the different tutors, which also serve as role models. It has been great.

My son was very resistant to going to Mathnasium and doing any kind of math tutoring. But now he goes without complaint and seems to be feeling better about his math skills. He also mentioned that he likes getting snacks there!
