My kids enjoy going to Mathnasium and their teachers like working with them as well.
Our son has always enjoyed math but needs to be challenged. The school system determined our son was eligible to take Algebra as a 6th grader in the fall. By attending Mathnasium in the summer, our son is able to gain the knowledge and skills necessary to be confident with an accelerated math placement during the school year. Our son has been challenged and Mathnasium has rejuvenated his interest in math. Our son especially appreciates the explanations provided by the Mathnasium instructors. Our son reports the explanations are easy to understand and instructors are able to answer questions completely. They truly do know how to teach math in a way that makes sense. My husband and I appreciate the continuing feedback from the center director, on-going assessments, and customized learning plans. We are pleased with the investment we have made to help our son be successful in the classroom this fall.
My child enjoys coming. She asks to go and loves telling us how many pages she completed and if she mastered a skill.
Tommy is very knowledgeable and helpful in helping my child figure out what areas were her strength and weaknesses. My child had a wonderful time each session. I highly recommend this location. I have already introduced 2 of our friends to visit. I will be coming back with my other younger children once they are of age.

Hannah is always very excited to go work on her math facts. Very different than a couple months ago.
Our daughter is enjoying the program. Today I asked her if she felt more confident going back to school because we're doing the summer tutoring. With a big smile she said yes! My only suggestion would be to give the parents an occasional update as they work through the program instead of waiting until the end. For example today she told me she finished level two and is moving on to level III. She's excited about that and so am I! But I'm wondering what that grade level equivalent is. I do like how well the kids are rewarded and I like getting the half sheets of paper that come home explaining what they did that day. This is a program we recommend and will probably do again in the future.
We love the way they tutor our daughter according to her level of strength and the areas where she needs more attention. They make math fun not stress for kids and parents both.

Loved the assessment they gave my son to identify his gaps. Also like being able to go as often as works for our schedule. Tommy does a great job of listening to his customers, too I really vale that.

Our daughter Alexis experiences anxiety and self doubt when it comes to learning something new. However, the one on one experience she receives at Mathnasium and the multiple ways the instructors have in explaining how to solve problems have led to an improved confidence and interest in learning math subjects for her. She really enjoys going to her sessions! She has fun and within just a week she was asking to go more often. Before visiting Mathnasium she absolutely dreaded math and her teachers struggled to keep her engaged. This is exactly what she needed to get her on the right path and thinking about math in a more positive light. The open schedule is so convenient as well!
When we first started looking for math help I was worried it would be another activty added to the schedule that I would have to force my kid to do. Instead she wakes up every morning asking if she GETS to go. I love that she loves it and is always ready to go!

My daughter loves Mathnasium. Each night she attends, she is excited to share with me the new things she has learned. The incentives they offer the kids for learning their math skills are so great that my daughter can't wait to get out of school each day and go again. Tommy is awesome at communicating with me about my child's progress in the program and makes sure that my child is happy with what she is learning. The whole staff goes above and beyond to simplify problems and how she's learning math so she doesn't become overwhelmed. I highly recommend this place to any parent that has a child struggling in math because any child planning to be successful in life will need to know their math skills. There is so much to gain. My child was so much more confident in herself with her math skills after only being there 1 month.
The teachers are hands on and patient with the kids. My daughter particularly enjoys the "special" days, like game night and popcorn night :)
