My two sons have been going to Mathnasium for many years. We started when we lived in Minnesota, continued when we moved to North Carolina, and for the past six years, they’ve been attending the Huntersville center. The staff there is truly exceptional—kind, supportive, and deeply committed to helping kids develop confidence and a love for math.
Both of my boys have thrived at Mathnasium. My younger son especially loves the program—he’s consistently motivated by the incentives and games, and he genuinely wants to go. Thanks to the support he’s received, he’s now about a grade level ahead in math. My older son paused when he started high school, but after finishing pre-calculus, he actually asked to go back for help with calculus—which says a lot about how positive his experience has been.
The team is also incredibly flexible and understanding when it comes to scheduling—as long as you communicate, they work with you. I honestly couldn’t speak more highly of this center. Mathnasium has not only improved my kids’ math skills—it’s helped them enjoy the process of learning, which is the greatest gift of all.

We have had a very positive experience with Mathnasium. We signed up as a bit of a "hail Mary" to keep our son busy practicing his math. We have been with private tutors before, working on both Mathematics and Reading, so this is the first time we decided to prioritize Math. Despite having an IEP in school, this seems to be the first time he's really making progress on his own. They have him back to basics to build the necessary foundation he needs to catch up and keep up in school. They have mixed the material so that he builds confidence while being challenged in a way that he doesn't shut down, which he historically does when he doesn't understand. He is learning to work independently as a result of this for the first time! They offer very achievable rewards for worksheets completed which allows the students to pick from some really cool prizes, nearly each time they do a session. This system is great because the rewards are fairly immediate instead of delayed. It's been a motivating factor for him on days he just doesn't want to do math. We are pleasantly surprised with how well things have gone in the last month and have hope for the first time that he will eventually catch up! The curriculum seemed somewhat confusing to me when we started, but rest assured, it does begin to make sense and they all know what they are doing. They are very attentive and work one on one with the kids based on their individual needs. The staff is wonderful and are super supportive in the words they use and the tone used with the kids. I highly recommend them!
My son started Mathnesium in March and He absolutely loved going there every week. Maths is pretty challeging for him so we were little worried but He told me that he loves the place and would like to continue going there.
Branch Manager Audra is a sweet lady who gave me all the inputs before my son's assessment and answers my all queries with patience.
After the enrollment when he started , she is the one who is taking consideration all the points we have suggested to make his maths journey better .

We love Mathnasium Huntersville!! Audra & her staff are incredible! Both of my boys (3rd and 6th grade) have been challenged in the best way possible. They are thriving in Math & love the program. They get so much out of the additional time spent at Mathnasium but without having an additional homework added to their already busy extracurriculars. Can't recommend Mathnasium enough!

You have really helped our rising 10th grader along with his math journey. He was actually able to pass the EOC test last year for the first time in his entire school history. The folks there that work with the kids are very knowledgeable and patient. He really hated math before going there, i wont say he loves it now but he tolerates it and to me thats a small win 😂

8th grader is motivated to learn at Mathnasium. Audra at the Huntersville center is always helpful and encouraging. It's easy to book sessions through their scheduling website. We never used the virtual class option but it's good to have that flexibility. And, we see results and the student's increased confidence in math! Highly recommend Mathnasium!

We have been a client a little over a month and we are already starting to see the lights turning on in our ninth graders head. Covid really did a number on his math skills and this is already helping him get back to where he should be. Everyone at the location is so nice, welcoming, and most of all patient while he is on this journey to math expertise!!!

My son’s math skills continue to progress under the guidance of the Mathnasium staff. The staff also works closely with his 8th grade math teacher to ensure that his Mathnasium lesson plan is on par with his school learning plan.

His math grades in school are the highest they have ever been as a result of the guidance he receives from Mathnasium. The Mathnasium staff frequently keep me updated on his progress. Additionally, they are also in close communication with his 8th grade math teacher so that they can learn his areas of weakness and work with him closely to develop his understanding of these area. I highly recommend Mathnasium to any parent who wants to strengthen their child's math comprehension.

Our son missed almost 2 years of school during the height of Covid- he was so far behind and when we moved to NC we found the absolute gem that is Mathnasium. His grades, test scores, but mostly his self confidence has grown SO much since this wonderful program came into the picture. The team is so supportive, they communicate not only with us, but with his teacher as well. We could not say enough Good things about this wonderful place!
Great teachers who meet my son at his current knowledge base for math and continuously push him to progress further. They also give the kids incentives such as gift cards which increase their desire to achieve. Excellent program!

My son is a rising 10th grader and has been attending Mathnasium for 2 years. He undergoes routine assessments to determine his strengths and weaknesses in math and subsequently, his math program is developed based on the information obtained from these assessments. He receives one-on-one attention which has greatly improved his knowledge of and confidence with various areas in math. Each session also builds in time to review math homework that the student is currently working on in school. The directors provide me with feedback after every session which is helpful. Mathnasium serves as an excellent math supplement for students at all levels of learning.
