Carol, the director, is so easy to work with that she makes coming here a pleasure .The teachers have been very attentive and if my daughter has a teacher that isn't an expert in the field they are working on that day then they make sure to get her to a different teacher. My daughter feels respected and confident going in for her sessions.

The staff
My daughter loves the one-on-one attention given to her since she is so young and impressionable. Her teacher, Ms. Brenda, is so patient and kind to her, and I appreciate that unconditional "touch" that is sometimes lost in the classroom. As an educator myself, you know a passionate teacher when you first meet him/her! Thank you Sylvan for giving my daughter such a great experience! I have seen a change in my grandson's attitude about school over the summer since attending Sylvan 4 hours per week. He even told me he is READY FOR SCHOOL TO START!!! I am very impressed with all the operations and teachers. I am especially happy that we will be able for my grandson to go to Sylvan on Saturdays once school starts and we will not have to make the drive from Kilgore to Longview during the week....Carol Pope has been every accommodating.
The staff is very friendly and my grandson has LOVED going this summer. We are very excited for school to start to see if his confidence continues and he applies what he has learned with Sylvan this summer....We feel that Sylvan is going to become a part of our lives for many years to come in helping him to grow and teaching him things about learning that is over looked in the public classroom.
