My daughter has been attending Mathnasium for a month now. She was telling me this week that "fractions are so easy, you just need to simplify them". I couldn't believe my ears! She struggled with Mathematics all throughout elementary school and now in 6th grade, and to finally see that she's no longer intimidated by math, but actually understanding the concepts, is well worth the investment!! Friendly and knowledgeable staff. My kids love going to Mathnasium and have improved significantly since we've started coming to Mathnasium. Much of that is thanks to the good staff and learning techniques.
School has not started yet, so I really don't know how effective is this program...but I am really please with the fact that my boy was always happy and whiling to go and sped time there, hour are very flexible and convenient...my boy was there for summer camp but I am thinking in enroll him during the school year.
My son loves his time at Mathnasium. The teachers are fantastic, they make him feel comfortable and competent and he is really feeling good about math!
