Ms. Katy is very patient, kind, and always welcoming to every new child who joins.
For English or Persian-speaking families, she always tries her best to help as much as she can.

The key factor is that she is always present, approachable, and supportive.

She is extremely flexible with scheduling class changes, always cheerful, and even in casual conversations her laughter and positivity shine through—even over the phone, you can hear her smile in her voice. She is always neat, tidy, and well-presented.

The teachers there are also very patient, friendly, and truly lovable.

Students learn more than just math — they gain confidence

Mathnasium is a great extra help for children! My daughter is an A student because of the excellent help she gets from this program!!!

Since Katy has taken over the Mathnasium Thornhill branch we started noticing real progress. Katy is attentive to the students and teachers, always making matches based on the individual kids best interest. Katy listens and accommodates to make families get the most out of Mathnasium. She focuses and differentiates for each child, and goes above and beyond for the students. She is lovely to deal with, always smiling and cheerful. She is incredibly bright and knowledgeable which is essential when you are running an after school math program. We highly recommend this location and have seen both our kids improve their math grades to above A.

My daughter was dreading math and she now feels very confident about her ability to tackle problems and solve them.

Katy was amazing from our first meeting. She helped my son and I figure out the best strategy for his needs which was a tutoring package. My son is in grade 10 and he found his sessions with Brian to be extremely helpful and was able to improve his grade by the end of the semester. Everyone at the Thornhill location is very helpful and patient and seems passionate about what they do and helping students.

The Thornhill location is simply amazing thanks to Katy, the lady who runs it. She does a phenomenal job helping kids advance towards their potential, together with her awesome team. It’s a great investment when you see results, and in that location you will most certainly see results!

I couldn’t recommend this Mathnasium location enough. Katy who runs it, goes above and beyond for her students.

From the moment she took over the location the first thing she did was turn her desk around so that she can keep an eye on the students. Sounds like a pretty simple act but it really tells everything. She familiarized herself with every student’s strengths and weaknesses. She takes the time to plan and customize a plan for each She truly cares about her students success and it shows.

The communication is top notch and she is always accommodating every request as best she can. It’s been such a great experience and the results speak for themselves.

My daughter feels more confident in her math course since starting with Mathnasium. Dan has helped her understand the concepts which has made doing the homework and studying/preparing for tests much better.

We have been very happy with the program and the staff, who have worked well with our son for over 6 years now. The staff have all been very helpful and it's been an excellent experience overall. We have seen tremendous growth in our son's overall math skills and he has done very well this year, as he is completing his grade 11 math course.
