Having a special needs child, it can be difficult finding a place that is patient and understanding for haircuts. That being said, you guys really understand the patience needed for my son and his fear of haircuts. At that, he still turned out with awesome haircut with all the movement he was making!
My kids LOVED their first haircut at Pigtails & Crewcuts. And I was amazed my 3 year old didn't cry until he had to leave :) Great haircuts and the kids had a fun time too!

I love that we have a salon dedicated to children. Getting a kids haircut can be a frightening and stressful experience, but Pigtails & Crewcuts - Lake Nona does an awesome job making it a better experience for both the parent and child. They have toys in both the waiting room and in the salon chairs to preoccupy the kids. Melinda did an amazing job with my 16-month old! She was patient and friendly. My son didn’t whine or shed a single tear. We will always come back to this salon for his haircuts.
Becky was so sweet with my daughter and made sure she felt comfortable for her first haircut. She was patient and took her time with her. I also was very impressed with the thought and attention that went in to the design of the salon and inclusion of items for keeping the children happy and entertained while making it a rewarding experience for them (treasure box, etc.). All in all a great experience!

We had a good experience here! They have someone certified for sensory needs and she was very calm and nice to my autistic son. And the haircut looks great which isn't always the case when he's upset! Would definitely recommend.

My son is autistic and has always struggled with the sensory issues that come with a haircut. Finding this place was the biggest blessing! I have never seen him so at ease. He absolutely loved everything about it, and was able to sit still for the entire haircut. He loved the hair stylist & made sure to tell her that from now on…she has to be the one to cut his hair. Could not recommend this place enough! Thank you for taking great care of my boy :)
