However, some instructors make assumptions that the students are very familiar with asanas, and call off poses by name, without instruction, rapid-fire.
(I say this having practiced asana 3+ days/week for the past couple of years.)
I’ll have to take note of which classes to avoid.

I love the facilities. I love the instructors. Their flows are always challenging and evolving.

Had a great experience there and will get back

The Bowers location in San Jose, CA is the only location that I have attended class at. I can tell you from my opinion this is a reflection upon this location, I am a not a yoga professional. I am a beginner. The teachers are so welcoming and open to answer any questions that I had. The attitude of the teachers is what persuaded me to purchase the unlimited classes for myself. I highly recommend the Bowers location. Emily is my favorite teacher.

CorePower Santa Clara Square has changed my life! The classes are typically smaller than other near-by studios and the environment is significantly more welcoming and less judgmental. I feel way more comfortable and at home at this studio. The teachers are amazing, they work to get to know their students and all have their own style, which gives for a variety of different classes throughout the week. The studio is always clean and the employees are always upbeat, positive and very helpful. I could not recommend this studio more!

This was my first experience with yoga. The instructors were so friendly and welcoming, helping me to learn and position my body correctly. I am so excited to join and improve and learn more!

Great check in, really tough but fun class with 4 new poses! Enjoyed the gratitude sharing at end as well. Will be back.

I have always enjoyed yoga but CP just brings the level of service, class friendliness and knowledge up a notch from taking yoga at a regular gym. I always feel great coming to CP from the moment I'm greeted at the front; the instructors and other fellow yogis, to the time I walk out of class feeling empowered, grounded and satisfied!
