Customer Testimonials

Wonderful experience! Haddie’s understanding of math has greatly improved since starting Mathnasium tutoring.

My 14-year-old son started with not wanting to go for math tutoring but now he is looking forward to going to Mathnasium whenever he could. The session summary sent to parents via email helps us know how our kids did during tutoring. He got B in 8th grade math (before started Mathnasium tutoring), but now he is getting A (above 95) in 9th grade math and the school math tests become super easier for him. His 9th grade math teacher recommended him to do Honor class next semester. Full credits go to Mathnasium tutoring! Wish we started Mathnasium tutoring earlier! Doug is very kind, supportive, and flexible with scheduling change. He is also very generous to support RBHS sports fundraisings. It's so good for our kids to be surrounded with godly people like him.

I'm really happy that Mathnasium challenges my 2nd grader. She often says math at school is too easy, so it's great to see her engaged and excited about learning more advanced concepts.

Mathnasium has been great for my daughter! They make it fun for kids by using incentives and positive reinforcment. My daughter continues to make improvements, and her confidence is growing in Math.

My daughter is doing better in math and her confidence regarding math has improved.

Environment is ideal and the staff is great!

Mathnasium has really helped my daughter catch up in math at school. The teachers helped present the materials in a different way, which helped her more easily comprehend geometry and algebra.

My grandson really enjoys coming to his math tutoring. He has learned a lot and is doing much better.

Mathnasium has been extremely helpful for my son. He is in college classes as a senior and taking ACT Prep classes in which Mathnasium has bent over backwards to help him. It takes a village and Mathnasium is apart of our village. Highly recommend.

Doug and the entire staff has been wonderful to work with. They are professional, knowledgeable, and have been a tremendous support to our student.

My kid love learning at Mathnasium.

Kiddo is finally appearing to enjoy math!!! Thank You!!!

My daughter was struggling with Algebra II. She had missed some major building blocks during COVID and had fallen behind. Doug and the staff were great to work with. She enjoyed tutoring and was able to gain confidence and a more solid understanding. Thank you!

My son did not want to go for math tutoring in the beginning. He likes sports instead. He was "forced" by mom to go to Mathnasium to do math after school hours. Mathnasium works on developing kid's interest in math. They provide incentives to encourage kids to work hard in math. After several weeks, my son started like going to Mathnasium and often comes back home very excitedly because he is rewarded incentives (Amazon gift card, cash etc). He saves these "treats" from Mathnasium as his personal allowance for buying his sport gears. The Columbia Mathnasium owner Doug was a Rock Bridge High School counselor. He is so kind, professional, prompt in replying emails, and flexible in scheduling. I would strongly recommend kids to choose math tutoring at Mathnasium!

The teachers are great! My son enjoys the learning activities and incentives. He is always excited to go to math class, and is focused and attentive during each session.

Our daughter has benefitted from her experience with Mathnasium so much! We started sessions because she was struggling with basic concepts in her math classes at school, and she has overcome that issue and is now working ahead of her grade level. We believe her instruction offers a great blend of challenges and reinforcement that has made math more fun and so much more less frustrating for her. She beams when she tells us about what she's done during her sessions, and we're very grateful for her progress!

My daughter loves Mathnasium!!

His confidence and willingness to do his math has greatly improved. He is already doing better in math and enjoys going to tutoring which is the complete opposite of what it was. So far very happy with the results.

I recommend them and give them 5 stars. They bend over backwards to accommodate my son’s hectic schedule. Act prep to college algebra
They are always prepared to drop everything and get him get prepped for his next test. My son goes to military high school and is able to keep his 4.0 delta phi status.

Our child has excelled in math since beginning the Mathnasium program & genuinely enjoys attending sessions. Just today, our child said, in regards to a new unit at school, “I can do this already because I learned how at Mathnasium!”. We’re so thankful to have found this program & for Doug & all the staff at the CoMo location.

Fantastic experience for both of my girls. It has given them so much more confidence in Math as well as a piece of mind that they are doing it correctly. The help with homework alone is worth it.

We’ve been going to Mathnasium for more than three years now. It started with my older son who did not make it to an advanced math class in 7th grade, so we started looking for a math tutor for him. After a half a year at Mathnasium his scores have improved so much that he was able to transfer to an advanced class in his 8th grade. We started our other boys there preemptively, and so far their math scores have been well above average, as well as they report being ahead in their math classes at school. The director of Mathnasium is very flexible with us when we need to change our sign ups or are running late, he is very easy to get a hold of and is very approachable, and kids love him. Also, most of the time they don’t mind going to Mathnasium at all and even look forward to it, which is surprising at times given the subject matter smile 😊 So far it’s been a great experience!

Everyone was extremely helpful and caring. My son loved all the staff. Would definitely recommend Mathnasium!

Awesome crew. They bend over backwards to help the children. I send both of my kids there. Doug and Travis rock !!

Fantastic facility! Helps my children enjoy math and helps out with any and all math homework for a much smoother evening at home. My children have improved on math test scores at school as well as an overall increase in confidence in math.

Doug and staff are wonderful! Doug communicates well, is friendly, understanding, and positive. The staff provide support in small group settings, making sure kids get their needs met. Doug uses positive reinforcement to help reward the kids for their hard work. We continue to see math skills improving for our child!

I can it say enough about our positive experience! To make it worth the money you need to attend 3-4 times a week. Our son is an only child, so I love the number of guys who work at the Columbia location! We have taken a break, but will go back this winter.

Awesome service. They helped my son with his math finals. He was calculator dependent and they are helping him and my daughter become independent from calculators.

It is so fantastic for the kids to have help with homework and be rewarded for doing Math while enjoying their time there with great tutors.

Communication with Doug is great! He is Always responsive and thoughtful with email correspondence. My daughter received tutoring at another local establishment prior to starting at mathnasium and did not enjoy it. She loves going to mathnasium and never complains. We are thankful for all the staff!
