Personalized plan developed to address my daughters needs. She is able to work on that plan or specific questions that she has from her high school math class. Her grades have soared from C to A with the help and confidence built at Sylvan. The schedule is flexible with prior planning. We never feed that we are stuck with services or time that we do not need.

Everyone is professional, I haven't had any problems. Daniel understood and empathized with the fact that my child is different. It seems so far they are giving her the space she needs without judging her or pressuring her. I have yet to see if my child will show improvement but I'm looking forward to a positive outcome.

Friendly, knowledgeable people. The program was explained thoroughly and my grandson loves and looks forward to each tutoring session. His reading comprehension and focus has improved significantly with only a few sessions.

The staff are very friendly and accommodated our requests. Prior to Sylvan, my son had been enrolled with Kaplan. They are a large company and just were not responsive to our needs. When they cancelled every course south of the 8 freeway, they gave us one choice: refund or take it at UCSD at 8 am on a Sunday. Sylvan developed a course to our exact specifications (the number of weeks, the number of hours a day, SAT mock test, and online access to learning videos) and my son liked it much more than his two prior SAT prep courses. His second time taking the SAT test, he improved by 50 points in the Math section alone. Everything Sylvan prepped him to see on the SAT was there. We are very satisfied and told our friends. They in turn took their kids there are well and liked it above their prior SAT courses elsewhere.
