The weekly help with math has been a great experience for my son.
The program definitely helped my daughter gain math confidence and keep her skills up over the summer. My son was assessed at two grade levels above. For him I was hoping for an experience with more flexibility in challenging him. However the program works through the sheets and mastery checks and he was not pushed to excel past the level he was assessed at.
Overall it was a good experience, especially for kids struggling.

My 8-year-old son was really struggling in math. His math tests were in the 20% range. His frustration was simmering because his twin brother was thriving in the same grade at the same school. His grades were falling and we knew we needed outside help. I went the path less traveled with Mathnasium by buying eight, one-hour tutoring sessions.
We saw improvement immediately. In the end, he started to ace his math tests at school. He is now ASKING for more Mathnasium!!

Kyra enjoyed working with all your staff and had a few favorites. Attending Mathnasium helped her achieve test scores well above her 5th grade level at the end of the school year, even though she was only in the classroom a half day per week at her atypical school. I highly recommend Mathnasium for students who study independently.
We would have continued on at Mathnasium if the program offered enough hours that she could attend three times a week. Adding Friday and longer hours on weekends would be a big help.
My kids enjoy going to Mathnasium, the instructors there are wonderful.
