Different levels for different folks

The y is great and safe! Thank you for offering kids activities!

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The track is a huge bonus for me and the cardio machines are everything I need. The gym is also very clean and you can tell they care about health and safety!

We are so impressed by the dedication and enthusiasm of your staff in their commitment to keep the Kennett Y running during the pandemic. So many of the instructors have signed up to offer outdoor classes during this second round of government shutdowns. We are truly blessed to be part of this community.

The many classes and great instructors

I love your yoga class. You have done a great job in making the y safe during covid.

The instructor was great.

The pool area and woman's locker room is very clean. Everyone seems very accommodating. The lap pool water temp is nice; not too cold which is how I found it last year. I appreciate keeping it on the warmer side since the warm water pool is not as available.
Keeping with social distancing, I do NOT feel comfortable sharing a lane. Swimmers are on top of each other when there are 2 in a lane. I do not think this should be allowed. I am a retired physician so I do know something about infectious diseases and how they spread. I am surprised to see this being tolerated. I have NOT had to do this yet but I would like the Y to take a stand and say it is not within the limits of social distancing. That takes the burden off the swimmers from making another swimmer angry.

Great instructors, and the facility is usually very clean! Most of the reception team is good, however, there are couple who could use a smile & a thank you.

My kids love the swim team. We do a mix of lessons and team and they really enjoy it. Great coaches and instructors.

I applaud your focus on the safety of those choosing to continue to avail themselves of the fitness options offered by the Y. However, I remain concerned that during most of my daily visits, I have noticed individuals failing to strictly adhere to the mask-wearing policy; too, I have all to often experienced individuals not respecting the 6-foot social distancing mandate.

I care how well you care for the health of your members during this quarantine period. You also have helped families by reducing fees when the y has been closed. There is always a high standard of cleanliness even when there no pandemic.

When I was working out yesterday I noticed a woman on the treadmill with her mask pulled down under her chin and also a man cycling with his mask only covering his mouth. There was not an attendant around to correct this. It made me feel unsafe and I did report it when I left but now I feel uncomfortable going back.

Variety of classes and the instructors. The instructors have a passion for what they're teaching and it comes across.

Outdoor class

I love the outdoor fitness classes especially with Kelly Jeffries. Please continue with the outdoor classes into winter provided it isn't wet. My oncologist prefers me exercising outdoors instead of indoors in public. I won't be able to use my membership and may have to cancel if outdoor opportunities aren't available. I kept my membership during the shutdown to support the community but may not be in the same financial situation this winter.
