Kids programs
I mainly use the Y for swimming. I appreciate the fact that most of the time I have a lane to myself and I can swim most any time. I also appreciate the cleanliness of the Y in general and the changing and shower areas in particular.
My only complaint-I do wish the water temperature could be raised a degree or two! Would make it easier to decide to leave the warmth of home!
The other area of the Y that I feel that I belong to is the Montessori School. I often pick up my grandchildren from the school and camps and love seeing them bound out the door full of stories and happiness. Could not imagine their being in a better environment.
We thought the program was great for our son!
Tailored to my interests and needs
I work out in the water. Enjoy Happy for having clean lockers and showers. Everyone is friendly and helpful. Thank you for your service
!
Excellent physical facilities; comprehensive and well-maintained; friendly and helpful staff from the front desk to personal trainers.
The people and the environment are so supportive. In addition, I've had great experiences in the classes that I've taken. I'd like to give a big shout out about Mike L. and Steve S. They have been great to work with.
The friendliness of the patrons & instructors & staff.
Suggestions & comments are welcomed.
Amount of class choices.
Instructors are enthusiastic, capable and do a great job of encouraging the people taking their classes.
Swimming pool accessibility is better than other Y's in the area.
I enjoy Robyn’s aqua fitness classes in the morning.
Suited to my ability level. Good time. Fun, competent, instructors. Welcoming atmosphere. Friendly staff.
Our daughter's soccer coach, Coach Justin, is the best youth sports coach we've ever had and her experience has been a great one.
Programs are inclusive, easy to access, and build a sense of community, camaraderie, and good sportsmanship.
This was my daughter's first experience with a team sport! She absolutely loved the program and the staff. The staff was/is so friendly and interactive with the kids! We will definitely be doing soccer again next year!
I enjoy the various group exercise classes I take at the Y. I seem to be in the minority in most of the classes (as a man), but I know that I don't have the self-discipline to exercise on my own on a regular and challenging basis.
Variety and enthusiastic instructors
I appreciate a lot that Helen and Steve are inviting other instructors from the Y at Kennett to give us an idea about the lessons we can take and the personality of the instructor.
I also really like the personal group session where we did exercises on foundational movements together. It is bonding and fun to talk to others who have gone through cancer journey.
Fun! Friendly atmosphere; great antidote to todays stressful world!
The variety of classes and the friendly instructors
Programs and people
Great instructors that are very dedicated to health and wellness. Also a wonderful place to connect with friends.
Friendly staff & guests; safe; clean. Core values of respect, responsibility, honesty & caring are taken seriously, and imbue the organization. Outreach to low income youth gives me a good feeling of where my membership money & donations help beyond my own needs.
I only use the treadmill and the resistance equipment. My wife and I tried pickle ball prior to Covid and are likely to get back to it. So I really can’t speak to your programs and activities. Your facilities are great.
Friendly staff
Family friendly and clean
We've only done preschool swimming acclimation, love the one on one time my son gets even in a swim class of 5+ kids. Megan is a great teacher.
Age appropriate activities for toddlers which are difficult to find out here. I wish you had more activities for 2-4 year olds
I normally like to do a cardio (spin, step, etc…) followed by body pump three times a week.
I also take my grand kids to the warm water pool. I would really like it if the warm water pool hours could be expanded or adjusted so the kids that nap from 12:00 until 3:00 could swim. The hours on Sunday should be adjusted for afternoon swimming (3:00 -6:00). The hours during the week should be adjusted to start at 9:30 am and perhaps start up again at 3:30 pm vs 4:00 pm. I do recognize that life guards are in short demand but think about who is swimming in the warm pool.

I enjoy the lap swim hours . Wish there was an area like the mind body studio that was available without group classes so I could practice yoga without being in a class
