We have only been at Mathnasium for a little over a month so we have not necessarily seen results in school yet. What we have experienced is a very friendly atmosphere. My 9 year old enjoys his time there and the staff all know him already which I believe attributes to his comfort level.

Mathnasium has been an excellent learning resource for my children. They have gone from dreading math to being confident and excited to attend sessions in just a few short months. The instructors are very capable high school and college students. My children find this younger age of instructors very approachable and I feel that they learn very well this way. This will be part of our routine for a long time to come.
My daughter attended Mathnasium two days a week for a month to bring her SAT score up. She gained almost a hundred points on her next SAT test!

The diagnostic, persriptive apptach that Mathnasium uses identifies gaps in skills which allows students to focus on the skills on which they need to master. The Socratic questioning technique employed by the tutors allows students to discover their own mistakes. This type of error correction solidifies learning. My 15 year old felt comfortablle because the tutors make the work and their communication with each student age appropriate. Working with Mathnasium helped my 15 year old with the Algebra 1 EOC.
My daughter is much more confident in herself and her abilities after attending Mathnasium. The experience has been extremely positive and I highly recommend!
