My kids enjoying the math learning here .. they make it more fun for the kids

My son started Mathnasium failing math he was there for two school years and was getting straight A's when he left and got straight A's ever since in MATH. Never would have thought that would be possible before Mathnasium

We are so excited to have found Mathnasium! My daughter had been going to her teacher for extra tutoring and not seeing any improvement in her grade. When she finally told me how her “tutoring” with her teacher was going, we looked for help elsewhere. My daughter has always had a struggle with math. Her first tutoring session was the night before a test. She was worried because she was really struggling with what the test was on. She ended up with an 87 on that test! I did not have an argument about her going to Mathnasium over Christmas break and when I go to pick her up she says that she is not ready to leave. I cannot thank the staff enough for helping my daughter begin to overcome her struggle!

My kids are really enjoying their time at Mathnasium! They look forward to their sessions every week. I love that they are building up their math skills in such a supportive and positive environment.

After 3 weeks in Mathnasium my daughter Brianna started to love Math..... now she got it!!!

My kids can’t wait till the next day they get to return to Mathnasium! My first child was good at math and I wanted to foster that love for math. My second child, however, hated math and it would cause more tension at home. Subtraction-for example, took 6 months to teach only took 6 days to completely understand. Such a relief and I am just so happy to invest in my children this way!

My son requested Mathnasium when it came time to do SAT prep because of how much he liked the people who worked there from years before. There were many places and ever private tutors we could have hired (and that I looked into) but he was adamant and actually looks forward to going! They worked with his crazy summer schedule and agreed to do two hour blocks instead of one in order to get his full 18 hours of time in. Can't recommend this place enough! ~ Shannon Black

My kids are really enjoying their Mathnasium lessons, and Becca is a pleasure to work with! We’ve had to re-schedule some classes and Becca always makes the process so easy. The center is organized well and you can tell the teachers love being there with the kids. All in all, a great experience.

Somewhere along the line, my daughter missed something. Whatever it was, it made math a constant struggle. One day she decided she needed help. We went in for the assessment and she was SOLD! For a 13 year old to light up at the idea of 2 hours a week of EXTRA instruction. Especially in a subject she despises???? I don’t ask questions. She stands taller and in just 6 sessions, is now helping her peers with their questions.
This place knows what they are doing.

This review is long overdue. Mathnasium in Georgetown, TX has been key to my son’s enthusiasm for math. Starting with the owners, Jennifer and Matthew Faulkner, to the director, Leah Hough, to the individual teachers, they aim to foster excitement, creativity, confidence, and the drive to excel in a subject which often gets “a bad rap.” When kids receive negative feedback about math this may foster self-doubt. Instead, Mathnasium’s method is to empower the student and this has proven very successful for our son. We actually started our son at age 5, prior to kindergarten, and it was incredible to see the arithmetic, problem solving, and abstract reasoning he was able to do! This is our third summer at Mathnasium and we have decided to continue him throughout the entire year as we observed regression in his skills without Mathnasium. Thank you, Mathnasium!!!

They've done a great job at removing anxiety around doing math and our stat standardized testing. My son saw immediate improvement and elevated math scores on tests and quizzes.

I think the structure and environment are constructive and help make math fun for the students.

My daughter is one month into Mathnasium and already I can see a difference in her attitude and confidence in math. This was the best decision we made all summer. My son enjoy coming to each class two times a week he fill that it is helping him doing the summer to be ready for when school start back the teacher is very hands on in teaching

I had signed my 11 year old daughter up for a "tune-up" series at the end of the summer. At the end of the first class, she was telling my how much she enjoyed it, and that she was looking forward to completing her sessions. After school started, she asked me if she could go back for more. I was thrilled, and signed her up for more sessions. It may be hard to measure the ROI, because she is already an A student. However, if it just helps her with her transition into middle school, it will be well worth the investment.

Mrs. Jessica is amazing! She cares about the students. Not just academically but about what's going on in there lives as well. I get great feedback from my 16 year old which is rare.

We've only been going a few weeks, but my son loves going and feels like it's really helping him better grasp math concepts he didn't understand before at school. He really enjoys his teachers at Mathnasium!

I think the program is great. My only minor request is that the environment be quieter. For instance maybe a receptionist to answer the phones and greet the students instead of greeting them from the tables. Jessica does an amazing job keeping the kids motivated while providing great customer service to parents.
